They come in a roll, and you simply peel off and place on your letter or pkg. They are highly visible and of quality material that easily sticks on cardboard, paper and plastic envelopes or cartons. The adhesion is very strong. The surface feels vinyl coated and tends to resist water like in rain. The color is somewhat neon and reflective so they standout and are easily seen by the postman or shipper. The dimensions are 1" x 3", and mine are a bright orange-red color. They do the job to the highest standard of performance and are a great value for the money. A++
