Great Design and Quality even though...
I purchased this in late November and it lasted a little over a month. Still, I give it 5 stars. Here's why: I primarily bought this for my recently adopted senior Chihuahua brothers, one of which is blind. They won't go outside in inclement weather so I purchased this gazebo to put on my wood deck - this would give them cover and a place to go to the bathroom. I had purchased a canopy before this and it lasted 24 hours when a 5mph breeze turned it into modern art titled "crap". Did my research and got this one. I'm 68 years old and partially disabled so a friend came over to set it up. took about an hour for everything. Here's what I loved about it: the design was elegant - so easy to put up; beautiful; sturdy; storage bag was strong, easy to pack, and had the written instructions sewn onto it (so convenient). Wasn't crazy about: mosquito netting - I wanted to keep the mesh walls on because they kept the rain from coming in, but they also increased wind drag and made windy conditions real threats. The orange guides meant to help secure the canopy to the horizontal scissor perimeter grid were too loose to be of use - but this didn't matter because the canopy did not ride up. I could not easily take it up and down because of my health so I wanted to really guard against high wind issues. I screwed the feet into the wood deck, used the included bags after filling with sand, used the tie-down ropes to secure it to the deck railing, and inspected it often. And then the storms came. For several weeks we endured steady winds of about 25mph! The gazebo took it like a champ. It would slightly bend at the legs and the canopy would really dance. It rained a great deal, sometimes hard, but everything under it stayed dry. I loved it, the dogs loved it. First the snow came - heavy, wet, and deep - 8 inches. I went outside 3 times that day and gently pushed on the underside of the canopy with a soft squeegee in order to break up the dense buildup of snow, guiding it downhill until it was off the ceiling. I was knocking off about 70-80 pounds of the stuff each time! Still, it held. I was amazed. And then the death knell tolled in the form of 2 days of frequent gusts of 50-60mph. My deck furniture blew off the deck, a bucket of 8 bricks ensconced in solid ice tipped over and blew down the deck steps. The dogs couldn't stand in it and I had to use 2 canes to stay upright. Then the metal rod holding one of the corners of the overhang-canopy snapped and the canopy corner blew towards the peak of the roof and began snapping back and forth. I captured it once but could not hold on - it ripped right out of my hands. I got into the house and sadly watched. I can not believe it lasted anywhere near as long as it did. It was insane. My friend came back the next day and took it down (the winds had died down). And even with all this, there is a chance I might be able to repair it. I HIGHLY recommend this gazebo. In my opinion, it's a beast when secured correctly. I thought the price was really good and that it was worth every penny and then some.

Love it! Easy set up and versatile temporary gazebo!
Update: we lost our tent to the wind so repurchased it again. The canopy has a terrible smell that our last one didn't (like farm fertilizer). I've reached out to the seller for a replacement canopy top hoping that it is just a fluke with the one i received. It isn't noticeable while you're inside the tent but when taken down and stored my entire garage smelled horrible. I hope this can be resolved easily otherwise we may need to return it. The company replaced it and were quick quick to respond and rectify my issue. Totally recommend them! ************************************* Quick easy set up and works great! Fits 6 to 8 people depending on placement of outdoor seating types. Absolutely love this pop up gazebo for a temporary arrangement in summers. This is well made and a wonderful affordable substitution to having an expensive permanent gazebo. This would even be a great camping trip addition! It is rain resistant but will leak in a couple of spots if it's pouring too long and hard. Bugs keep out mostly, but some can make their way in through the top vent openings. IMPORTANT TO NOTE BEFORE PURCHASING: This isn't a tent you can really leave up when weather will be stormy or pretty windy, especiallyif you're in an area with open land prone to wind . Anchored or not we just lost ours due to windy conditions of 20-30 mph gusts. We lowered it completely and had it anchored, but the wind ripped it out of the ground bending the entire frame. Now we plan to get a replacement. So, be aware you will need to take this down regularly, but it's pretty easy.

Easy Setup and Great Quality
I’m really impressed with this gazebo! The setup was super easy—took just a few minutes with minimal effort. The frame feels sturdy and well-built, and the 13x13 size provides plenty of shade for outdoor gatherings, BBQs, or camping trips. The canopy material is thick and durable, and it held up great against both sun and light wind. I also love the vented top design—it helps air circulate and keeps things cooler underneath. Everything fits neatly into the carrying bag, making it easy to store and transport. Overall, a high-quality pop-up gazebo that’s both functional and stylish. I’m very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it!

Put this together on my own
Update after two exact months. Destroyed by a rain storm but that’s my fault it’s a pop up gazebo what was I expecting. Good quality to last up every single day for two months. Just gotta remember the sun light contributes to the longevity of the canopy fabric. I’d keep it a nice 4 stars Let’s see if this gazebo can with stand a rain storm today and I’ll be back for review Other then that I put this together on my own I’m 5’1 didn’t need any help but if I did it would have probably been done faster. Took about an hour could have been faster if I had help. Looks good I added some weights I ordered on Amazon all together 80 pounds to keep it still

Customer service, great quality and affordable
Firstly, I want to give a huge shout out to the customer service of Crown Shades. After our gazebo was damaged from a very heavy snow, I reached out to customer service to get assistance. They were amazing. Initially, I was just wanting to purchase a replacement frame as that was really the only thing damaged but instead, they sent me an entire gazebo replacement and had it to me in a couple days. Absolutely AMAZING Customer Service!!! 5 STARS for sure! As to the product, its very light weight and was very easy to set up and the instructions were pretty straight forward. Setting it up was very easy and appeared to be very stable. The canopy is very well made and strong. The rain just rolled right off. I would say, if you have snow in your forecast, do yourself a favor and take it down. A light snow will be ok I think but if its a heavy wet snow, just take it down. A couple mins of your time will save you from having to replace it. Other than that, the product is very well made and incredible for the price. I would recommend this to anyone needing a gazebo style pup up canopy for their backyard space. I plan to purchase another to take camping I have a feeling that my family and I will be using this for many years to come.

Heartbroken but we’ll be back
Bought it on sale last year and has been absolutely amazing never had issues with rains or light winds. Was notified of a storm today while at work and came home to it just absolutely wrecked. The kids and my heart are broken and we’ve learned our lesson to take it down when we aren’t home 💔 hoping we can replace it after the holidays possibly. Would absolutely buy this again. Was easy to set up easy to move and store when necessary. Quality materials and never any complaints

Very Good Construction, but has one flaw depending on intended usage.
This is a sturdy, well built, canopy tent. However, it has a flaw if you expect it to keep things dry under it while raining (ignoring blowing wind). The design has two top pieces. The main top piece of tent which has roughly a 4' x 4' hole in the top and then there is another piece that sits on top of that with vents around it to let heat out. This is great, as you don't want a heat dome. The problem is they didn't engineer the overhangs of the top vent cover to be long enough. Once the fabric gets wet, it droops between the supports and the water comes right into what the tent is covering. There is only like 2" overhang, vs. like 6-9" that it should have to assure water laps onto the other tent. I had to buy this to put under the vent to capture all the water: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BZKX2KYH?ref=fed_asin_title&th=1 so our chair cushions wouldn't get wet in light rains. This would have 5 stars if the vent system properly kept rain from dripping (flowing!) from the top vent into the tent. I like everything else about the unit. I just wish the top tent piece extended more over the opening. This product works great for shade, and is well built. Its just if you are trying to keep things dry under medium to high rain volume, it you can't count on it. A light sprinkle will still likely be ok. Update: The seller was professional addressing my concern.

Easy and effective!
The Crown Shades 13'x13' Canopy/Gazebo offers a remarkably easy setup experience, requiring no assembly beyond attaching the fabric to the metal frame. The instructions are straightforward, making it user-friendly, especially for those unfamiliar with outdoor canopies. While the frame does require two people for efficient setup and takedown, the process becomes smooth and manageable after just a few uses. In fact, we were able to lower and pack it into the carrying bag in 5 to 10 minutes each night. The adjustable height feature adds a layer of flexibility, although taller individuals should exercise caution when entering or exiting. This canopy provides ample shade and effective protection from the sun, with a vent structure at the top that helps maintain a cool environment underneath. It comes with various stake types for anchoring; but for the sandy beach, we found that using beach umbrella anchors and bungies effectively secured it in breezy conditions. The construction appears sturdy, and with proper care, we anticipate it will last 3-5 years or more. This canopy can comfortably accommodate a good number of people, making it perfect for backyard gatherings or even leaving it up on a deck. Overall, we are very satisfied with the value it offers for the price, making it a solid investment for anyone in need of a reliable outdoor shelter.
