Easy set up. We went from 1 gal to 3gal. Love the light system switches colors has a timer. Pump seems good. No issues. Good size for my 6 yr olds room. Had it a week no issues. fish love it! Bought all the interior stuff minus the submarine for $10 on Amazon. I added the bubble machine bcz I had one. 3/20/24 update we love the tank fish are doing well. The light under the hood stopped working so that was disappointing. I see water condensation under the plastic cover not sure if that’s the issue. However I called support the lady asked a few questions and said she’s sending me a new light strip. So that’s good hopefully this one lasts longer. But Koehler service is great! Update 5/23/24 now the new light stopped working only after 2 months. I’m going to call again but it looks light this is defect in this fish tank.

I've had this little aquarium for a month now. When it arrived the pump didn't work. I contacted the seller and in a few days I received not just the filter pump, but a whole new aquarium set. Within a few days the filter pump started sounding like Darth Vader and I figured it was going to die and I would just have to spring for a different pump. I changed the filter even though it had only been a few days, and miraculously it went back to running so quietly I could barely hear it! I added some aquarium pebbles, a cave and a little tree thing. My betta seems to enjoy being able to swim more than a few inches without bumping his nose. So everything works, fish is happy and I'm happy.

Did everything exactly as the instructions directed while setting up. Seemed like a great tank for a few days. After waking up one morning and finding the water discolored and smelling awful, I realized the filter wasn’t functioning like it did the previous day. It was sputtering and making a noise like it was clogged. I rinsed out the filter itself, cleaned off the replaceable carbon filter on the inside, changed it to a completely new one, cleaned my tank water thoroughly, treated the water, made sure the water was always at the correct fill level, turned it off and back on etc. but literally nothing helped. Ended up having to purchase an entirely new tank with a new type of filter because the tank is designed only for that filter. Not really wanting to spend money on a replacement filter from that brand because it may just break again. Now it will probably just sit in my garage, unused. Very disappointed.

Got this to house 2 adopted ballon belly adult mollies temporarily, the original order came in already damaged, had a huge crack right from the box, the plastic is kinda fragile, they sent me a replacement and was fully intact, has a separate power cord for the light and filter, the lid only has a hole for feeding you have to remove the whole lid to access the fish, the food could get stuck on the whole if you feed it that way, and a separate tab for opening the back of the filter for changing. The filter is quiet and soft/weak flowing not sure if thats intended, it uses small square filter, the other photo on this listing shows a longer one but I for sure got the shorter one so you may need to change filter more often than 2-3 weeks as posted. The lighting is good, you insert the cord is on the left side if that matters to anyone. I'm happy with it so far, would have given a 5* if the first one delivered didnt need replacing, its a good tank compared to the smaller gallons for the same price.

Nice aquarium, I have gone through a couple fish since I bought it. Easy to keep clean, size is perfect for my bettas. The aquarium out lasted 3 of them so far. Easy to move if you have to, but don't. You can change the light setting, one better only liked the blue light were the others like whatever color we put on him. My betta beds stucked to the sides with no problem.

Before I bought this I read the reviews saying the filter didn't work but I also read ones that said it was great. Took a chance and bought it. Filter doesn't work. When I first got it set up I had to find the sweet spot for the water level, too low and it wouldn't work and same if it was too high. Now almost two months later for one second out of every 30 or so, water will come out of the filter and that's it. No matter how much or little water I have in it. If you pour water into the filter to help prime it, it will work fine for a minute and turn off. At first I liked that the filer had its own spot in the wall of the tank, there's no bulky filter in the middle of a wall it's all flat. But now trying to find a new filter to fit that area is a pain. I have a mystery snail who likes to escape so finding a filter that fits and doesn't leave a gap is important. Other then the filter I like the tank, nice size and the lights are nice. But you'll need a new filter.

Definitely not meant for a bunch of fish. We have one goldfish in this because we won our goldfish at the fair. It’s easy to clean, very durable, looks really cute and overall a good value for our money. The LED lights offer three or four brightness that you can choose from. The filter qualities seems to be lacking a little bit because it’s so small. They do get dirty rather quickly. You can buy replacement filters fairly cheap on Amazon. It doesn’t take up too much room at all. Please note it does not come with the plant any decorative rocks or the shell. It is a basic fish tank that you add water to.

This is a nice sized aquarium for beginners.

Beautiful tank my fish loves it however my pump stopped working within one day I do not know how to contact the seller to have a replacement pump sent but maybe by posting a review someone can assist

I set up this Aquarium less than 3 months ago. The filter is broken. It is making a loud noise. I've tried everything to make it quiet, but nothing has worked. I'm so annoyed .

Likes: The details, measurements and description are very accurate. I got exactly what is depicted and am very pleased with that. All parts arrived in excellent condition and everything works. The instructions for the system setup are very clear. Filter is very quiet. LOVE the LED lights! Dislike: The lid of the tank has a VERY small opening for feeding (shown in photo). I have to lift the lid off for almost every feeding.

My daughter’s beta got an upgrade and he’s a happy camper in his new tank. So much room for him to swim and a light for night time! Bigger than I had expected as the pictures really don’t do it justice on the reviews but I am super happy. The lid is lock tight so if you have cats, like I do……your fish is safe. It was super easy to follow the set up instructions for the filter as well.
