Usually we use it for cooking Soup ,Noddles ,Rice congee plain Porriage and dumplings .I can't use it just make rice by myself .

The label on this unit indicates it is made in China. There was no adapter included for use in US 110V.

This does need a USA power adaptor. It is dual voltage BUT NOT AUTOMATIC DUAL VOLTAGE. Just change the switch on the unit to 110-120V. You will need plug adaptor and they cost about $1.00 each on Amazon.

What is the composition of the pot coating, as well as pot itself?

The material of the pot is a food grade aluminum and coating. And The coating is inside, different from the pot itself.
