Facebook All-in-One For Dummies (For Dummies Series)

I was clueless about Facebook and this book was great assistance in boosting my confidence that I had set all the security settings where I wanted them to be. I still have questions after being on Facebook for a few months and I continue to refer back to the book.

I took a QuickBooks class and needed more information so I purchased this book. It is a true gem! It covers everything that you could possibly need to know in order to use the computer application well, it also covers the basics of accounting that you need in order to have the information entered correctly so that your accountant does not want to strangle you come tax time! I have already let a few people I know about this book. Intuit does not send any kind of a manual along with the program anymore and will charge you for their "online help expertise" so this is really priceless.

Wasn’t what I was hoping for, not a real help

Already being familiar with Facebook, I decided to read this book for the sole reason that I wanted to learn more about creating and marketing a business page (because I'm actually in the process of doing so). I started with the sections that pertained to business and they were pretty good. Often times there would be pictures that help supplement the text. The bolded sections helped demarcate information and such. The only thing is that some things are a little bit out-dated, which is understandable because Facebook is constantly changing its platform and navigation structure. After finishing the business sections (or "books" because this book is technically 6 in 1), I decided to just read the whole thing so I can understand the website more. I can't speak for somebody who isn't familiar with Facebook so I won't comment on the basics but I was surprised to find helpful tips for business in some of these sections...Those of which should have at the very least been reiterated in the business sections.

This book really showed me how dumb I was to facebook. It showed me many new things I could be doing and I love it!!!!

In an era of fast change and development, especially in social media I should have known better and checked the publication date more carefully. It is hopelessly outdated.

Never found a " FOR DUMMIES" book which was not highly informative and ultimately useful.

Book for Dummies has done it again. Once again they have broken down the barriers for understanding how to take full advantage of a given topic.

Good book for those of us who know nothing and understand nothing

Good value for good price.

Lots of information, very helpful resource.

For the price I expected something a little bit more up to date
