How long is this good for after opening?

There is no directions as far as an expiration date or nice opened.  I opened the first one and it’s was just fine for 6 mos.  the best by day was approx 2 years after u got it.  It is a powder so I imagine if you keep it dry it would last to it’s best by date.  Hope this helps!!

Question 4

How is this fed? Can it be mixed in cats water? I free feed dry cat food. A powder on that would just sift to the bottom

I don't think you could mix it in drinking water. My cat would not eat her food when I mixed it in (it smells like Miracle Grow to me), so I use half the tiny scoop provided of the powder, mix it with 3 drops of water, and then use a small oral syringe to give it to her after she eats. She's used to getting meds with an oral syringe, so it's not a big deal.  If that's not an option, you might be able to fold it into a pill pocket if your cat likes those (mine doesn't).
