I use this to do daily fleet inspections on deicing trucks at the airport at zero dark thirty. It lights up my work area enough to check fluid levels and read mileages. I like that it doesn't add a lot of weight to my forehead or affect my balance like some other headband flashlights can. I especially like that it is rechargeable. I also have a small flashlight I carry for work that takes one CR123 battery. It lasts maybe a week before it starts to dim. This light (which I also wear for work) is full intensity all the time, as long as I remember to plug it in at the end of my shift. Takes maybe two hours to charge. The motion on/off feature is nice, but I rarely use it. I turn on the LED's at full intensity and that's usually good enough. The motion sensor is also overly sensitive and can be activated by getting too close to the side of a truck, for instance. Better just to not use it. There are a variety of versions of this light on the market. I checked the reviews before deciding on this one. It's more expensive but has also paid for itself in battery replacement savings. I use it five days a week and so far, no problems.

These are great head lamps unfortunately the batteries only last around 3 years and can not replace the batteries

We bought this headlamp at the same time we purchased our LED safety vests, mostly because our walking route has several poorly lit stretches and we wanted to be able to see the path clearly. This has turned out to be one of those small purchases that makes a big difference. The best feature by far is the motion-activated on/off function. Being able to wave a hand in front of the lamp instead of fumbling for a switch—especially while wearing gloves or walking in the cold—is extremely convenient. It responds quickly and hasn’t misfired, which surprised me in a good way. We typically use the lower of the two brightness options, and even that setting is more than enough for evening walks. The video we took makes it obvious how bright it is on the “dim” mode. The full-power flashlight feature isn’t something we use often, but it definitely has its place; it projects a strong beam far ahead and would be great for trail spots or checking uneven ground. Lightweight, comfortable, long battery life, and genuinely useful—this headlamp is a solid companion for anyone who walks or runs after dark. Definitely worth having.

I've got a lot of headlamps I like, most of which have the unfortunate side effect of blinding anyone you look at. And while I can see far ahead on a trail or in camp, their beam is very focused, which makes broader vision less effective, like when you are cooking in camp (or just the back yard). I also have a broad beam LED that illuminates across the front strap, which is great for broad 180 degree vision, and doesn't blind those you look at. I had hoped this would be a good compromise, with both a spotlight and a broad light attached, so I could switch between the two. And while the spotlight does work well for seeing in the distance while walking, and the broadbeam works well for setting up camp or cooking in the dark, all my camping buddies complained about the blinding brightness of the broadbeam, and the lowest setting wasn't nearly low enough. Long story short, if you are working or camping alone, and want a light good for long range and short range, this is a great, lightweight, multi-tool. But if you have friends or family with you that you'd rather not annoy, this is not ideal.

This puts out a surprisingly bright amount of light. I love that it has the hands free sensor too. The first one I got was defective but I got it replaced without issue and this one works great.

Awesome bit of kit!

This is best headlamp I have ever purchased. I use it almost daily year round. Perfect for late walks, late night tinkering in the yard or automotive tasks. Illuminates what you’re working on as much as would be needed. I’ve only tested the battery to about 3-4 hours at a time and it has never let me down. The strip light is perfect for night tasks relatively close and perfect for scavenging twigs for a campfire. The side light is much brighter and has a meaningful focused throw to about 30-50 yards. It is very comfortable and I often forget it’s on my head. I see critical reviews about it. It’s not gonna be a lamp that will last the camping weekend turned on all night every night with no recharge and it’s not going to hold up throwing it in a tool box and slamming power tools on it. But if you need a headlamp for mild to moderate evening tasks or working under something and need light this is what you should buy. There are no cons and no disappointments. I’ve had mine for 3 years with nearly daily use and it’s still going strong. I charge it every night when I’m done walking the dog. If you buy the Chinese knock offs I think you’ll be let down.

Purchased in September 2023. It's been used and abused for working in dim places. It's been reliable but is showing it's age. Elastic band is stretched, glue is not holding the LED bar to the band, and some of the LED's are not working. I'm not easy on it. I leave it in me van during the summer heat and winters, thrown in a backpack after use and yank it out when needed The fact it still works is impressive for over 2 years. The only thing I'm disappointed in is the price compared to the enormous amount of competition.

Headlamp is easy to operate - very bright and battery lasts a long time. I dont use the motion detection much as I find it is not helpful in what I do.

Hay leds que dejaron de prender y otros tienen falso. No la recomiendo pues la he usado poco tiempo y ha sido un trato cuidadoso.

Nous l’avons utilisé durant 8 jours dans le nord du Québec à des températures froides (-30 degrés) et la lampe a été très efficace . La lumière est vive et éclaire vraiment bien. Elle se fixe bien à la tête. Nous verrons avec le temps si la lampe frontale a une bonne durabilité
