Quality Control Problem
My 1st purchase of KastKing baitcaster reel was on a Prime Day special. The spool cover side plate would not release. I was sent a replacement reel. I could easily remove the side plate. I wanted to loosen the drag and install the line. The drag on the 2nd reel had been tightened so extremely that I could not loosen it. I even used a small diameter plastic tube for more leverage with not luck. Apparently they have a quality control problem at the assembly department. The reel looked good and appeared to be made with quality materials. I was very disappointed I did not get to try it on the water.
