UV Face Mask with Shapeable Nose Wire - UPF 50+ Sun Protection - Blackburn

This mask works perfect with a hat to protect my face from the sun/UV rays after just having had tx done for actinic keratosis. Really practical while driving, protects your face from the sun shining in on the driver's side window.

I bought this because I wanted to use it while driving to protect my left side of the face. In the picture it looks like the mask loops on the ear. The one I received has fixed elastic bands at the back, making it difficult to put it on. Also, you need to adjust the nose strip very carefully otherwise the fabric will poke under your eyes. I also felt like I couldn't breathe very well because of those elastics. The material is good but the mask is a little small (will be tight for people with bigger faces) and the design is off. Would not recommend. Hope they can improve their design.

I needed extra facial sun protection due to effects from a medication I was taking. I was training for a cycling event and riding long distances, 50-65 miles. The mask worked well with my helmet, was easy to put on, comfortable, and breathable. When maximally exerting, I could easily move the chin portion to my upper lip so that my mouth was not covered but my nose and most of my cheeks were. This way I could breathe heavily and drink from my water bottle unimpeded. My only complaint was the shapeable nose wire. I felt it was too thin and it was extremely uncomfortable after multiple hours riding (it would leave an indentation on the bridge of my nose even with trying to shape it loosely.) I feel a wider, flat nose piece to custom fit would be more comfortable. But still, it really helped me to train in the sun all day!

I have a small face and it barely fits. Not too comfortable and if you wear make-up you are gonna stain the cloth which is machine washable. Not what I expected. You don’t look decent wearing it. May wear occasionally or on long trips. I would prefer maybe a Velcro tie because you put over head, pull down, then pull up to adjust. Too much, too messy. Don’t love it.

This has really helped with sun sensitivity for my friend who is undergoing chemotherapy.

This is my third mask, the wire in the nose keeps breaking the fabric is good, the fit is great.

Very comfortable and easy to use. Gives me the needed protection from the suns rays.

A little tight, don't know why they show a man wearing it. Seems like it would be better for an older child or small woman.
