Poor quality

I purchased this balaclava hoping that other reviews were accurate, concerning the material thickness. I own several other balaclavas for the cold winter, in which they are fairly thick. I wanted one that was thin that could be worn for the fall and this one was perfect. I am thankful I ordered two. It fits well, not too tight or too loose. I have a rather large “noggin” too. I don’t know how well these will hold up. Only time will tell, but they do seem to be stitched good.

I bought this for hiking in the winter. It’s thin an comfortable. Unlike the ninja-esque picture, the mask is big enough that my nose, mouth and eyes are exposed, which is great because it doesn’t fog up eyewear or interfere with eating or nose blowing. Covering most of the head and neck, it conserves body heat during my hikes. If I start to get overheated, I just remove it and shove it in a pocket. It’s so light and thin, it’s barely noticeable in my pocket I can wear a ball cap over it to keep the rain off of my glasses and for extra warmth. Finally, the bright blue color is highly visible in winter woods, so hunters don’t shoot you. Blue is an unnatural color. Hardly anything in nature is blue. Orange blends in with orange dead leaves, so in my opinion bright blue is a better color for high visibility in the woods.

It’s chilly to wear, but it keeps my face protected from wind. Use daily years after purchase

These masks are smooth, cool with a good tight fit! They are breathable and matches with anything I wear for work or when it’s cold! My favorite!

if you have a giant noggin this is for you. normal sized head people look elsewhere. also it is bright yellow and not green.

Does as needed. Used in winter and couldn't feel the cold when out boating and fishing.
