GREAT construction set
I bought the crane truck set because I needed the crane for a construction themed cake I was making for my 2 year old nephew. It had more assembly required than I expected, but everything feels sturdy and substantial and was easy to assemble. I only initially used the crane and a few Warning signs for the cake, and I gave his parents the rest of the set to allow him to use when they felt it was age appropriate, due to the small parts. He insists on taking the crane with him everywhere he goes. They allowed him to play with the various vehicles. He and his older brother play for extended periods of time with them. There is a lot of value with this quality set. I think most of this set is ok for this 2 year old, because he's not one to put stuff in his mouth.

Pretty awesome!
Kids young and old loved this toy. So this was bought for a toddler. Durability is always a question when you have a mini Godzilla in the house. These toys seem to be strong enough to endure most daily beating. There are moving peices and the scale is pretty good. The crane move in most ways a crane should, same with the excavator, steam roller, and front loader. The trucks are fixed. Head the warning the "connex" that the toys come in, is very difficult to open for the common human. The panels snap together. Summon super human fingernail strength, or find a butter knife to pop one of the panels open. If you use regular human fingernails prepare for casualties. That being said the connex is an awesome aspect of the toy as it serves as storage and also a construction playform. Also red stuff in picture is not included. That would be the remains of a smashed bathbomb. Which for reference makes a decent play sand consistency, also because you know it will end up in the carpet... and at the least will smell good.

Definitely cheap made but recommend
Ordered for my 2 year old. The Crain he keeps pulling apart. But the trucks he absolutely loves. He's wrecked them about 100 times today and are still in good shape. The trucks are pretty sturdy. The Crain isn't so much. Is recommend an older child for the Crain. I'm going to put it up until he's a little older. Everything else he plays with great and doesn't break. 100% recommend for the money. You get what you pay for. Can't expect all metal when the price is this low.

Keeps young boy playing imaginatively
Has entertained grandson for a year on monthly visits. A bit fragile, but interesting.

Absolutely great construction set!
Great construction set for a toddler but the only thing to be weary of is there are a lot of significantly tiny pieces. We have a 3 year old and a 20 month old so I am removing the items I know will be either thrown, chewed on or become missing in a matter of minutes. Putting all the parts together probably took 20 minutes and that included placing stickers on cones and signs. I bought the “Orange” set which includes a mobile crane. The picture on the front of the box shows 6 trucks but really 2 of them are not included. They are just interchangeable clip attachments for one of the trucks-(scoop, fork loader and V shaped bulldozer clip.) The equipment seems to be pretty sturdy however the crane has a pulley system that includes several elastic strings. I don’t imagine them lasting long either from regular wear and tear or from toddler use. I can see my son picking up the crane by the strings. There are barriers and some are clipped together and the other have a really flimsy “pin ins” that don’t stay together at all. Maybe glue them? I see them getting lost quickly. I think we’re going to use these as a cake decoration too! Very cool set!!

Good set other then forklift breaking in the first 15 minutes
This is a decent set made of plastic not metal but good for kiddos who love construction. My child is more than happy about it-the only problem is the forklift broke in the first 15 minutes and that kind of dampened the toy as I had purchased the set specifically for the forklift per my child's request. Would be nice to be able to get just that replaced as my child plays with this nonstop once he wakes. Other then that it's alright.

Great toy!
I got this set for my truck-happy four-year old and it has been a big hit, especially the crane. I love that it comes with a box that folds out to be the “construction site”. A couple trucks have interchangeable pieces to “transform” (as my kids say) between the roller, bulldozer, etc. They tend not to make much use of all the signs and barricades, but play with the trucks regularly. The only two downsides I can find are that the box can be a bit difficult to pry open, once it’s all folded and snapped together. I wish there was at least one spot on the top that could open easier for putting items away (or adding ones you find after you’ve cleaned everything up, which inevitably happens). And, the strings on the crane tend to get wound around the sides of the track theyre on and get stuck. I frequently have to unwind and get them lined up again, but it’s not a huge hassle and because the set as a whole is so cool and so well designed, I couldn’t bring myself to dock any points. Also, though the plastic seems pretty standard, I will say none of the trucks or pieces have broken so far (we’ve had it for about a month). With two active boys under six, that is genuinely shocking and quite a nice surprise, ha ha!

Wonderful toys for my son he has been playing with them since we got them. All the vehicles are very durable and are able to withstand the punishment put on them from a 3 year old. Highly recommend if your kid is interested in construction vehicles.

Love the detail of all the construction vehicles. My 3year old grandnephew loves this so much that he takes the excavator to bed with him!

We just received the product yesterday and I had accidentally ordered two box sets. It worked out because I actually have two young boy. Best mistake! I am unable to give it five stars simply because I cannot comment on long-term durability just yet. I will however give it a strong four stars. It seems to be of decent quality and as far as imagination it is a fairly complete set. There are different types of equipment that have enough moveable parts to make it that much more interesting. Having the little cones, barrels, barriers and signs make it even better. The price seems a bit expensive but when you compare purchasing it in a toy store it would certainly be comparable these days. Lastly, I had emailed customer service in order to enter into a free toy contest that came with the package. I received not only a generic email, but I also received a personal email the next day. For me this means that customer service is probably not an issue and that is a huge selling feature in my books! All in all, as it stands now, I would say this is a safe buy but careful with wee ones because there are a ton of small parts. My boys are 4 and 6 and this is perfect.
