Perfect fit for my 2016 Lincoln MKC, all pieces fit together tight. All buttons operated smoothly and the actual key slot was secure. I would recommend for anyone needing a replacement fob case. Significant cost savings vs. going to the dealership.

This is a perfect replacement case for the fob to my 2016 MKX. Some reviewers had issues with the silicone insert, medium between the button you push and the PCB, being too stiff, but I can say that I do NOT have this issue. I kept the OEM FoMoCo middle plastic piece, installed 2 new 2025 batteries, and the new silicone. She works perfectly.....for now.

Perfect replacement for my son’s broken key fob case on a 2015 Mustang. The case is made from a sturdy plastic but he tends to drop/bump his keys often so I ordered him a rubber protective overlay case (sold separately via Amazon). It was easy to install and fit all the components from the old case. It looks so much better and closes securely.

EDIT: Returning this after churning a new set of batteries and another set of older batteries within 1 week. The case puts constant pressure on the emergency button which will occasionally trigger the car alarm to start going off, but also empty the batteries in a matter of days. Returning this and trying another. The only part that does not work well on this is the metal keyring attachment, so you 100% should transfer that from your OEM fob to this one. The OEM ring has hooks that hold onto the internal battery board, where the replacement doesn't have the hooks, and therefore doesn't anchor as well and can be more fragile without that. My OEM front panel had chipped aroudn the edges, and my plan was to use the Ford back with the logo, but in the end it wouldn't fit as seamlessly as the new case. The only complaint that I really have is that when it comes time to replace the batteries, I anticipate it will be a massive PITA because there is no top battery lip to pry the part, and getting both edges clipped in took a bit more force than I would have preferred.

Fit well works as expected. A bit fiddly when it came to putting it together but it all worked. Tip- you can just replace whatever part of your key fob is not pleasing with one of their pieces and put it together looking good as new.

My key fob broke at the attachment point and was held together with duct tape along the sides. Buying a replacement fob from the dealer is very expensive, so I decided to buy just the shell instead; it turned out to be perfect for my 2016 Explorer. Highly recommended.

Bought this to replace one of the POS replacement FOBS I bought 9 mo ago that keeps falling apart. THis one seems like it could be a little better, but once I swapped the board and batteries and closed it up the buttons to lock/unlock would not work at all. I ultimately took the silicone from my old FOB and used that successfully with the new FOB. Once all buttoned up I had variable luck getting the buttons to all function correctly every time, and I dropped it like 5 times (busting open every time) trying to put the key ring back on it because it's so slick. This is close to one of the worst Ford key FOB designs ever, the generic version of it is not any better. Expect to be disappointed and with luck yours may work for you.
