I am not the seller, but I would not recommend wearing these in the pool due to the usually high chlorine content of most pools. Your comment about "material is the same as a swimsuit..." is not quite accurate-swimsuits are composed generally of nylon (80%) and spandex (20%) and these pants are polyester (88%) and spandex (12%). Polyester will likely break down in consistency in chlorine and the black color will likely fade so you can wear them in the pool but they probably won't last very long.

They're very comfortable. They fit but not too tight through the hips and thighs and then are more relaxed at the bottom.
