Clean Lines, Easy Install
This hardwired cable management kit delivered exactly what I needed: a clean, professional-looking way to run power from the outlet below up to a wall-mounted device without visible cords. It’s well made, easy to work with, and leaves a minimal footprint on the wall. If you want a tidy, semi-permanent solution that looks like it was installed by a pro, this is a solid option. If you’re trying to hide a run from a lower outlet to a wall-mounted device, this cable management kit is a practical, attractive, and durable choice. It saved me from visible cords, was easy to install with basic tools, and left only minor, easily repairable wall marks. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a tidy, long-lasting solution.

The best option you would find for wall mounted TV
This kit is simple and complete for wall mounted TVs, would fit most needs behind your TV. It is made with quality and great finish, comes with the high voltage box, a regular 15 amps/125 volts two outlet (careful, the picture shows one with a let, that is not what comes with it), decorative cap for the outlets with the screws, and it is recessed to provide some in-wall space for the power cord male plugs. In the other side, the white brushes are not too soft or too stiff, perfect to stay on place to cover the hole while allows to pass any cable(s) to communicate with your TV (I ran 2 HDMI and one audio stereo cable for additional A/V IR remote control). Behind the brushes, it has small plastic structure that helps to hold/support the cables, so they won't get lose or fell inside the wall easily. Additional, it allows to hide the extra cable inside the wall. It is easy and simple to install, the instructions are written inside the box, as well as the cut out template. If you want your super flat panel very close to the wall to looks like a hanging frame picture, this box would allow you to do that also. About price, this option would help you to avoid the hassle of many individual parts adding cost + S&H. One kit at good price, one shipment. Don't think it more if you are mostly running HDMI cables and power cables. You would be happy |:-)

My new favorite wall plate
I've installed 4 of these around my house so far and plan to do at least 4 more in other rooms later on. They have become my new favorite wall plate for installing media devices and TVs. I'm not a professional installer or anything, but being able to run my cables in the wall and into the attic (COAX and network) has been a goal of mine for a long time. I picked up these ones because they weren't too big and they are recessed enough to allow for low profile tv mounting. On the lower plate, the recessed feature allows your entertainment unit or other furniture to get a bit closer to the wall as well. I did make a simple change to my plates. I'm not a fan of brush plates because I didn't want to run the in-wall cables directly into devices. I went with a more modular approach which to me looks a million times better (see attached photo). To do this, I just removed the brush plate and installed a 6-port Keystone jack plate. This allowed me to customize the cable types I could use and after buying the applicable Keystone jacks to fit in the plate, it made the whole setup look seamless. Now, all the jacks are connected inside the wall and on the outside, I only need to plug in cables to the ports I need at the time. The overall installation is "easy" to some extent. If you're not comfortable with cutting holes in your walls and possibly having to drill through studs and/or fireblocks, you may want to hire someone to do this. Either way, when completed, these wall plates will make your room look super clean by removing the clutter of media and power cables to all your entertainment devices.

Great kit, small downside
Great product, adds a nice sleek look next to a mounted TV. Some experience installing outlets is helpful but overall not a difficult install and this kit helps create that seamless cable free look. The only downside is you will need something for the bottom area of the wall for the cables to exit if you are running hdmi to a credenza.

Quality and cost effective
Used this for my newly mounted TV. I was back and forth on this kind of product with a hardwired outlet or the one with an in-wall rated "extension" cable that plugs into another outlet. Obviously, I went with this one. The kit itself has everything you need to install this (template, outlet, etc) but does not include any electrical wire such as romex. I was fortunate to have an outlet high up on the wall between the two studs I wanted to place this new recessed outlet. All I had to do was remove that old outlet, pull the romex down to the new location, and install everything. The romex pulled through the new gang box with ease and connected just fine to the new outlet. I used some fiberglass rods to pull my HDMI and CAT6e cable up from the bottom of my wall (which I also used a Legrand brushed cover to match the top). If you're looking for some cheap fiberglass rods, Harbor Freight has decent quality ones that should do the job for this pretty easily. Once everything was pulled, I tightened the screws on the front of the plate and the entire recessed portion felt very secure on the wall. Highly recommended, just be sure you know what you're doing with the electrical wires or hire an electrician!

I'm really satisfied of this product and I recommend to everyone who like to install their tv on the wall. It's perfect to hide wire in the back of the tv and having great installation overall. I'll probably install my basement tv in the same way and probably buy it again. Thanks for this super solution!

Great way to hide cables. It could use a connector so it can be used with conduit, i had to make up a connection on my own.

It looks weird but did the job for my need

The plastic is durable and has four swing tabs that secure it to the wall. This has a decora brush insert for AV and network cables to pass through. It can be changed to use keystones if you have the keystone decora insert. I install TVs on the wall and run the cables, this helps when clients don’t already have power behind the TV. One of these requires an electrician to do the outlet.
