Cable Matters [USB-IF Certified] 10Gbps Gen 2 USBA to USB C Cable - 3.3 ft, USBC to USBA Cable, Black, Compatible with iPhone 16/15 Pro Max/Plus

I've now purchased a total of four of these Cable Matters USB-C to A cables for both work and myself. I can't believe how many low quality cables are out there, many of which are incompatible for things like external hard drives. This cable is excellent and works with everything. Sure you can use it as just a charging cable, but it's also a wonderful data cable and works great with my WD DUO drive and several microcontrollers. I use it at work as a PC to monitor connector. The cable is a little stiffer and thicker than most and the connectors are durable. If you are looking for a reliable and cost effective cable then this is a great choice.

I bought this cable for my CarPlay and I have seen a big change in quality. No more lagging, no more random disconnects and it feels sturdy as a brick! Love this thing. Worth every penny.

I was having issues with my capture card transmitting video from my Switch to my computer, and decided to find a faster USB cable. This solved this issue with no problem! Frustrating that the Elgato didn't come with a cable that worked, but happy this replacement worked perfectly.

I use this extensively with a variety of drive and host device types and so far it works very well, including worked around a problem with one drive that occured when I used the OEM cable instead of this one. I spent about 4 weeks using this cable for several hours a day in challening scenarios and it did exactly what I wanted: enabled the 10Gb/s device speed and didn't get in my way with connection problems or drops. Plugs are good quality / fit properly unlike some branded cables which have too loose a fit. If you have a number of 10Gb/s devices you switch around on a daily basis this is a nice cable to have to maximize your chances of everything working in a realiable / stable way. Don't assume because you purchased a good brand of drive or device, that it ships with a good cable. Equipment MFR often skimp on cable quality to increase their margins, partly because they know many people won't want the hassle of calling in to replace a cable.

The type-C end is long and stiff and puts a lot of torque on the actual contact pins. I now have intermittent connection loss on a 2 week old cable. I'm sure everything meets spec, but it's not durable.

High quality, as expected. I only buy cable matters at this point because I know it will serve me well for a long time.

If you have a few photos to transfer from your phone to your pc its a split second and you're done. I had thousands to transfer and it did it faster than I expected. This cable works great, at 10gbps it's not the fastest cable, but I was able to transfer over 10 thousand photos from my phone in under an hour and a half. That's not to say it's the cables fault, it's probably my pc that's at fault, considering it's about 13 years old now. I highly recommend this cable so long as you don't intend to transfer massive files that are terabyte sized. If that's the case, go with a 40gbps plus cable. Best wishes!

There are so many cheap USB cables available on Amazon. I prefer Cable Matters cables because they have the USB-IF logo, meaning they've been tested and certified to meet their stated performance. They cost a little more, but I think it's worth it for the peace of mind.

El mejor cable de datos que eh encontrado , se nota por mucho la diferencia de transferencia con este cable , lo conecte a un SSD externo y a diferencia de otros cables este si es de 10 gbs simplemente perfecto y si es 3.2 gen 2

I thought my phone was dying as charging it overnight was not able to top up the battery to a full charge. Sent phone to replace a new battery but the repair guy was honest enough to tell me therewas nothing wrong with the battery and did not need a replacement. Hence I bought a new cable to try and within 2 hrs of charging a flat phone, my battery was fully juiced already. What a difference it made!
