I’m a 42 inches chest what size should I get

Im also around 42" chest (110cm) but according to the size chart above, it says Medium. If this guy 'Richard is saying go for a XXL' is there something I'm missing or not reading properly?

I bought largest xxl size for my hubby, he is very droad chested. Plenty of room and light weight.¹

Does the shirt shrink in the wash

No they don't shrink when you wash them, I love them so much I got an additional black and 2 white.
