This was really nice to use.
I used this going to a ren fair on a warm day. The battery lasted the 6 hours i used it. i did have it on the interval setting on low or medium fan. i only had to fill the reservoir at the beginning and once more after that. i was using this in a low humidity air state and it was very effective at making it feel cooler. not sure if the mist would be helpful in a high humidity environment but the fan was strong enough on high to get a good breeze out of it.

Great neck fan but overpriced
This neck fan is actually really great. The fan blows nicely and battery life seems to be good. The mist is actually pretty strong and cooling. In fact, if you wear it across your neck and it's positioned just-so, it'll eventually wet your shirt. Now, that also means that it's using a decent amount of water, which is one of my cons. The reservoir is decently sized but you still have to fill pretty often, at least every 45 mins - 1hr or so on intermittent. Also, there is only one button that controls both the fan and the mister and it's annoying. Quick clicks to change the fan and press and hold to rotate through the three mist settings (continuous vs. intermittent and then off). Sometimes you unintentionally turn the fan higher when trying to control the mist. Again, annoying and not sure why there couldn't be two buttons; the thing is certainly big enough. I'm a pretty small person and don't find it super heavy. It's not featherweight but when it's around my neck, I don't think about it much. I haven't clipped it to my pants and perhaps that's when I would be able to feel the weight? I don't know. But at almost $30, this thing is expensive. There's one that's half the price but only has one fan speed setting. I do enjoy this but haven't yet decided if it's worth this hefty price.

Great cooler with mist... if you can figure out how it works!
You need to use the correct combination of short and long pushes of the button to turn it on, set the speed and misting frequency and turn it off. You can only use tap water. I tried bottled water since I have it with me outdoors. Keep a refillable bottle of tap water on hand. I Have several of these, and I must admit, that a little battery-operated, half the price, model with much wider openings cools more effectively and has a larger water capacity for misting. It also has separate buttons for mist and air. I just bought another Cool Human as a gift, but I'm rethinking that option.

Love this fan!
I live and motorcycle in Arizona and am constantly looking for products to combat the heat and extend my riding season. I already use an evap cooling vest, and I’ve tried several similar products to add to that. But they haven’t lasted long enough or are too big, or too heavy. I bought one of these fans and used it on a ride from Gilbert to Payson, about 2 hours. The temp was over 100. It took a bit of repositioning to find the best way to use the fan but it was great. I just ordered 2 more fans.

Mister stopped working after a few uses.
It was all great until the mister stopped working within a few times of use. The window to return closed, of course, and now it’s just any ordinary fan. Not worth it.

Stopped charging after 1st day
Bought 2 of these for a summer trip. Did a test run for about an hour using misting intermittent and the tank lasted about 1 hour (battery didn't run out.) Fully charged them for the first excursion and used only 1 (fan only, no misting) and battery lasted fine. I was out for about 7.5 hours and turned the fan off whenever I was indoors which was about half the time. Plugged it in to charge at home and the red charging light won't stay on. It appears that the charging cable can't make proper contact. I have to push the cord in and hold in with pressure to get it to charge. Tried multiple charging cables, and I have 2 of them-- one charges fine and the other won't. See video. In terms of cooling, this is a very very light breeze even on powerful, but you simply can't get a powerful breeze out of something so small. On a scale of 0 to 10 where 0 is how hot you feel outside in the summer sun and 10 is indoors with AC, this fan will take you to level 1 or2. With misting on you'll be at 2or3. But hey, 1to3 is better than 0 so I think it's worth it for the tiny relief that's hands free. I really like it's slim profile, the belt clip, and the offset piece that keeps the air intake open and free-- makes it really easy to wear under clothes. I wore a dress and put on a belt under my dress and had this clipped to my belt blowing breeze inside my dress-- worked great and the slimness meant I didn't look too weird.

You need a USB to USB-C cable to charge it!
Insert states it has batteries but it is charged by a USB to USB-C cable which is not a cable that is common - I had to pay $10 to order a cable to be able to charge it."USB-C compatible" is not enough info to let you know you need a special cable. Also, there is NO explanation on how to use mister - had to google it!
