Is this powerful enough to use to adjust horses?

It's as powerful as an Activator adjusting instrument. I do not adjust horses and can't say one way or the other.

It’s a chiropractic tool. It punches at a small area of the body with spring pressure. It may/can relieve pain. I use it around the area of pinched nerves and pressure points. Mostly my neck & back. The chiropractor I seen used one. I personally think it works better with someone who knows the body. I bought it because I can’t afford professional. It’s a waste of money if you don’t have someone using it on you.

Is it possible to open it and change a broken spring?

i have not done it but i am sure some how it is possible like many others that i have used
