A great small fan. Good price, nice and quiet and pretty powerful. It's very light, so easy to move from room to room. Assembly was a little confusing but doable. Took about 20 minutes. Highly recommend.

A really nice sturdy fan and nice quality, you can never go wrong with Russell Hobbs, the airflow is great and powerful just on the number 1 button. Putting it together was straight forward, I definitely recommend this fan for the hot weather!

Does the job. It's fairly quite and has a good oscillation range, so is ideal at night as it provides good white noise to aid sleep. Setting 1 is a bit too weak for my liking but 2 are 3 seem powerful enough so far and provide adequate airflow. I can't attest to it's longevity as we haven't had it long enough. It was relatively simple to assemble but the tiny bolt at the bottom was fused onto the cage. Luckily we had the tools needed to remove it, but it was difficult and would have been impossible without proper tools. This would have meant that anyone else may have had to return the item due to not being able to complete the assembly. The fan itself remains sturdy without the tiny bolt in place though, with the fan on the highest setting the unit remains stable.

I purchased this fan because I already had an older fan in another room and needed a second one for the warmer weather. After using it for a while, I'm very pleased with the purchase. The fan arrives disassembled in the box, but don't let that put you off. Assembly is straightforward and only takes a few minutes. The instructions are easy enough to follow, and the only tool required is a screwdriver to secure a single screw that holds the front mesh cover in place. One thing worth noting is that the plastic nut that secures the fan blades to the motor axle uses a reverse thread, which may catch some people out during assembly. Once you realise that, everything goes together without any issues. In operation, the fan performs very well. It's noticeably quieter than my older fan, which was a pleasant surprise. Even at higher speed settings, the noise level is low enough that it doesn't become distracting when working, watching TV, or trying to sleep. It produces a steady airflow without excessive rattling or vibration. The airflow itself is more than adequate for a desk fan of this size. The three-speed settings provide a good range of options, from a gentle breeze to a stronger airflow. The oscillation function is also smooth and consistent, helping distribute the air evenly rather than concentrating it in one spot. Being lightweight and portable is another advantage. It's easy to move between rooms when needed, and the compact design means it doesn't take up too much space on a desk, table, or bedside cabinet. Overall, this is a solid, no-nonsense fan that does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's easy to assemble, reasonably quiet, provides plenty of airflow, and offers excellent value for the price. If you're looking for a reliable fan for everyday use during warmer months, this is a great option.

I didn't expect that amount of sound from a small 9" fan. Very light. Both fan speeds vary on it's own. Nbr 1 is loud and nbr 2 is louder. Especially from Russell Hobbs ??? Sounds like a mini outboard motor. I've taken it apart and reassembled it again, following instructions very carefully. It works ok if you can put up with it but don't expect to use it in a bedroom and sleep. I'll put it in the kitchen out of the way. Tiny screw and nut on the cover is very difficult to align and screw together. The oscillation does 'work' but not smoothly and sometimes moves at a sensible speed then goes fast. For a Russell Hobbs I am disappointed. Could have bought one from a Chinese website instead for much less and probably got similar results.

I am highly satisfied with my order. I purchased this and it arrived much faster than expected. The packaging was secure and the delivery process was incredibly smooth.The fan itself works perfectly and it runs very quietly / cools the room down instantly. Really quiet and powerful. During the recent heatwave it has been a welcome addition in the house! Easy to assemble. Very stabile. 3 settings, though I've only used the first one as it's powerful. Quiet. Pets love it. All in all great value.

Someone called Russell Hobbs may well have packed it, but it's not who made it. Hence 4, not 5, as it isn't exactly as advertised. Maybe when Amazon, little start-up that it is, gets a bit bigger, they'll be able to keep tabs on what they're selling more effectively. Nonetheless, it's assembled and working, shifting plenty of air around, and very cheaply.

AmXing little fan for a very reasonable price. I have it it on the lowest setting and can notice a huge difference in my therapy room. Very quiet also. Would definitely recommend thank you :)

A fan is a fan, it blows air, I get cool, not rocket science! Protective cage screw was missing this was annoying, not going to bother sending back a product over a missed screw !

It is well worth the money
