product specs
This product is completely useless; don't buy it. It's torque is very low. It's not value for money. This product should be removed from the website.

Good for testing, but otherwise it's a toy
This actuator/stepper is great for testing your circuitry and code, but don't expect to move anything with it. Very low motor torque and the carriage will bottom out on the mounting screws with any load on it. However, it's an inexpensive device for prototyping and development - perfect for STEM demonstrations of microelectronics!

A toy
It’s practically a toy, no real application besides demonstrating how linear actuators work.

Don't use 12v....
Description says 5v, but in listing description says it can run 5-12v. 12v certainly worked, but after a few cycles of moving a step and back, the motor was so hot that i must have been close to melting the plastic of the linear actuator housing. Have to remove a few stars for describing 12v power when that would certainly lead to smoke, fire, destroyed motor or some other < desirable outcome.

quality is not good
Just not good quality. Need it for a project. It breaks after a few trails. Need to buy another one….from difference place. I do not recommend this one.
