Forget the wireless Bluetooth earbuds.
This solves all of my problems with hooking up my phone to an audio device. The most reliable bluetooth pair of earbuds could be very expensive and also could get lost easily. Then there are the wired kinds that I have to stick through my shirt so they don't get caught and even then there could be risks. This economically efficient tool requires only the cheapest headphones without the mic and volume keys to be used and it works wonders. It is good for working out as well as sharing music inside cars.

I have a set of In Ear Monitor Earphones. Wouldn't it be great if they were bluetooth enabled?
I've used a few consumer bluetooth headsets. I never felt good about the two-piece kind, they felt insecure and the touch surface control was hard to work with. I use several of the ones on a cord, but even then, they have been uncomfortable and if I lay down on them, I keep pressing buttons. A while ago, I got a set of KBEAR KS1 Ear Monitor Earphones for another purpose, but found them so comfortable, I began using them for casual music listening. Wouldn't it be great if they were bluetooth enabled? I looked for an adapter and found the APEKX. It was small and seemed like it should do everything I needed. It's been perfect. The cord on the earpieces is not a problem at all and the APEKX either clips onto something or goes in a pocket. The KBEARS are so comfortable I can lie down in bed and listen without any discomfort or muffled sound all while using bluetooth. Working around the house is also trouble free. Battery life has not been a noticeable problem. I have run them down after falling asleep, but the useable time is more than I'd expect and not a problem. Pairing has been easy with multiple devices. No different than other bluetooth devices. I thought I had a problem with the volume up button not working, but it turned out to be sticking and a good firm press freed it up. Others complaining about the buttons might try that. All in all, the APEKX has lived up to all my expectations and is well worth the price. The small size and convenience is exceptional.

Cheaper solution to Bluetooth headphones
What this does: 1. Makes less expensive reliable wired stereo headphones into Bluetooth. 2. Gives you a microphone. 3. Gives you control over volume and maybe a chapter skip depending on software. I basically wanted wireless good sounding headphones. If I need the head phones for communication I have wireless headset that have ok speakers. Pros: 1. Allows you to put a pair of reliable stereo headphones on a Bluetooth device. 2. Microphone sounds fine! – it’s on the device itself. 3. Audio sounds great. 4. You don't have to buy expensive dedicated Bluetooth headphones that break on you every 8 to 12 months. If your headphones break, buy a new pair of cheap wired headphones. If the device breaks it is $15 as of this writing. 5. Decent range. 6. Charges quickly and can be used while charging. Must be unplugged first to turn it on. 7. Small and light 8. Works great with video games. Not sure on multi-player games. 9. Works with iPhone or on a computer Bluetooth Con: 1. Works primarily with the two ring 1/8 male connector headphone jacks. Three or more will take some moving of the connector around and may not sound good. The device provides you with a microphone. 2. Exercising: Buttons are easily pressed if left in even a baggy pocket. Had to use the clip on the back to wear it outside my clothes. Lengthy headphone cables will need to be tied up. Had it go back to the beginning of my podcast a couple times so I had to wear the device. 3. Must be unplugged from USB when turning it on. Once turned on, you can plug it back in. 4. Mic is on the device, no idea how close it needs to be to your face when using. This may be a problem if you have no way of hanging it. Again, it sounds fine to me. This device solves a huge problem for me. I’ve been buying Bluetooth headphones for use with my computer because headphone cables get tangled in my chair too easily and I risk the chance of breaking the cable. Problem: No matter how much I spend and how gently I treat Bluetooth headphones one of the ear cups manages to break off. Meanwhile my wired headsets are 10 years old and never gave me a problem. With this device I don’t have to spend much, and I can make my wired headphones Bluetooth. There was a lot of grief given by others in the rating of this device about the microphone. In testing it I had no issues. It sounds fine. It’s not meant to record your hit song; I could understand myself and noticed little in the way of distortion. This device was not meant to be used with an iPhone type 1/8 connector, hence the microphone on the device. The headphones must have two ring type jack only. I’m considering buying another one of these as a spare.

Sturdy yet small
The APEKX works so well! I’ve ordered several for gifts and for myself. The battery life lasts about 5 hours. I like that it’s small & the clip is sturdy. The shape & size keeps it secure. I’ve never lost one from being un clipped. I unload semis for work so I’ve definitely put it to the test!

Exactly what I was looking for, as most wireless earbud designs do not stay in my ears.
Solid product that allows me to use the few earbud designs that fit my ear (all wired). Easy to use and works as advertised, with clear sound and decent microphone performance. I've been using this device heavily for almost a year, and I'm looking for a replacement as the battery life has degraded. I wish they had made it a little bulkier and chosen a higher quality battery. I'd pay extra for the convenience of not having to shop for a new one; especially as it seems there are several almost identical-looking options on the market now.

Fine for basics, but controls don't work and can't use headphone mic
While this product doesn't do everything they say it will, it provided the basic functionality I was looking for. I'm a fan of my non-lightening headphones. Dongles for my iphone were unreliable when it came to maintaining a connection; a strain would be put on the connection when you put it in your pocket, etc. This device solves that problem. Audio quality is fine. A loss in fidelity is always expected when using bluetooth of any sort (not just this product) and the sound quality is perfectly respectable for walking around. If you've used bluetooth headphones or speakers before, you won't have a problem with this. If you're an audio snob who spends thousands of dollars on a tube preamp for your home stereo turntable, why are you using bluetooth at all let alone the $15 option? Here are my pros and cons. Pros: - Small and lightweight - uncomplicated - pairing is pretty easy - CHEAP Cons: - External mics are not supported. Despite what some reviews or comments may say, I have not been able to figure out a way to get this device to use anything other than the onboard pinhole microphone which is annoying. It took a few calls with people complaining about my audio quality before I figured out that it wasn't using my headphone mic. If you want to take a call with this, you'll need to clip it to your shirt collar. - Play/pause button work, but volume and track skip don't seem to. YMMV, but I haven't been able to skip tracks or adjust volume at least with spotify on my iphone SE. I can adjust volume with my phone controls which is fine, but it means that the phone needs to be accessible. - Device power up and pairing sounds are extremely loud. I guess it's a good thing that you'll be able to hear important alerts like this, but just make sure your headphones or earbuds aren't right on or in your ears when powering up or pairing. Overall, this device is a fantastic example of "You get what you pay for". I paid ~$15 for a thing that lets me use headphones I like with my iphone without having to use a dongle. I can start and stop music using the onboard controls and that's about it. Do I wish the other functions worked as advertised? Yes. Is this worth $15 anyways...maybe. While it looks like my cons outweigh the pros, the fact that it's so cheap is a pretty big win. I'm sure there are options that have all the bells and whistles, but if you're like me and just want to listen to music on old headphones you've grown to love, this is a perfectly fine solution.

Great Bluetooth Audio Adapter for Headphones
This product works great
P**.
Did not meet my needs.
I wanted to really like this as it would allow me to use my wired headphones with my late model iPhone. The BT sound quality is pretty good and the battery life is great, initiating a connection was easy. The negatives were the amount of dropped connections just being next to the phone. Randomly a warble would occur and with no devices nearby that would cause the interference.
