Cherry Bomb Lives Up to the Name – Tough on Grease, Easy on Hands I’ve gone through a lot of hand cleaners over the years doing garage work, light mechanical projects, and general dirty jobs around the house, and this Zep Cherry Bomb Hand Cleaner is one of the better ones I’ve used. This is clearly shop-grade stuff, but it’s still very manageable for home use. What I like most is how quickly it cuts through heavy grime. Grease, oil, adhesives, paint residue, and general “black hands” come off fast with just a small amount. The natural pumice gives enough grit to actually scrub things loose without feeling like sandpaper. I’ve even used it dry with a rag when water wasn’t handy, and it still worked surprisingly well. The cherry scent is noticeable but not overpowering. It does a good job masking fuel or oil smells, which is a big plus after working on cars or equipment. Another pleasant surprise is that it doesn’t dry out my hands the way some industrial cleaners do. After rinsing, my hands feel clean and fairly soft rather than cracked or tight. Things to keep in mind: this is a heavy-duty cleaner, so if you have very sensitive skin, you may want to test a small amount first. Also, it can leave a slight slick or moisturized feel right after rinsing; it doesn’t bother me, but if you prefer a totally squeaky-dry finish, you may notice it. The 48 oz bottle is a good value for how long it lasts, and the pump makes it easy to control how much you use, especially in a garage or utility sink setup. Bottom line: If you regularly deal with grease, oil, paint, or stubborn shop grime, this is an excellent, no-nonsense hand cleaner that works fast, smells good, and doesn’t beat up your hands. Love this product!! I work in a factory and my hands get so dirty and have to wash them often- this product does not dry out my hands and has helped heal the cracks from other products over drying. Will have this on a repeat order!! Oh, and it smells amazing!

Better than the orange brand. Wipes off easily with or without water. Hard working scrubber, great scent and doesn't dry the skin .

This stuff is amazing my husband is a mechanic and it cleans his hands better than anything else I’ve tried and it smells fantastic and it’s just great stuff. He loves it and it doesn’t dry his hands out like some other stuff does

I’m not sure on this stuff yet. The smell is AMAZING! It does a great job cleaning and removing grime. Super fast and easy. The 4 star is only because it leaves my hands feeling slimy. I can only image it must be some moisturizers in the cleaner.

I will always keep a bottle of this in my work truck. It's got a nice cherry scent. I always wear chemical resistant gloves when working, and part of my job involves servicing my truck, which includes draining and refilling the pump oil for the vacuum pump. I wear my gloves to do this, and because of the grease, the gloves end up greasy similar to hydraulic grease. I use a pump of this, and it removes all the dirt from my gloves, and makes them look new. The pump handle has withstood being left outside in extreme heat and below zero temperatures without breaking, so the pump is quite durable. I use it on my hands when needed and it leaves my hands soft. Very effective on removing grease and oils from your skin.

This stuff is amazing to use after any kind of motorcycle/car work i do, it gets rid of all the gunk, and does not destroy my skin!

Been a road tech. for 25 years. Best hand cleaner that I have ever used.. one or two pumps and wipe off with a clean rag and can write up a work order without getting it dirty.. Black nasty diesel engine oil is the worst to get off hands. It takes it off without water. Also, had rust runs from my car truck lid on the paint below it. Put some hand cleaner on a rag and it took it off without damaging the paint. Works on chrome too.. Bonus, leaves your hands soft and smelling nice too!
