Radio has issues running android auto. Sjoybring tells me that it doesnt support android auto despite the fact that is preinstalled on the radio. Sjoybring reguses to give me any of the firmware or update files because i purchased through amazon fulfilment services instead of there company even though at the end of the day they are they ones who made the radio, i dont see how where its purchased from has anything to do with updates. Would not recoment purchasing from them.

This head unit was a much needed upgrade for my 1999 F150. Works great with my iPhone 7 Plus.Now I can make calls hands free and have a backup camera and mirroring navigation maps from my phone.It sounds better than the stock radio/cassette unit and seems to have enough power for listening while driving with the windows open.

Pros: inexpensive double din with very decent eq compared to others I've seen in this price range. The UI was very snappy and this just seems to be better quality than most "non name brand" double dins. Multiple preouts are a nice touch as well, so you can run multiple amplifiers without the addition of an equalizer or sound processor.Cons: remote is pretty janky but works? I don't use remotes much with touch screen stereos.

I had purchased a previous model and had issues with it. Explained it to product support and they immediately responded. Tried various techniques to remedy it with no improvement. JoyBring then proceeded to work with me for a replacement unit at no cost to me. Sounded too good to be true but they came through fantastic. Received my unit replacement installed and worked great. Got a firmware update and they asked if I wanted a more personal Logo and Wallpaper. Sent the photos and what you see is what they did for me.. Support was with me the whole replacement timespan. I would highly recommend JoyBring for your next entertainment unit for your vehicle. Installation directions were clear and understandable. This unit is installed in a 1998 F150. Don’t know of many models (if any) that now have a backup and dash cam camera. If I had a question about it they responded very quickly. Good to see a company working for and with its customer base. They put just about everything on this unit. I really couldn't believe how much this stereo was offering for the price. I just installed it today and I knew it was nice very quickly. My original plan was to wait a few days to install the backup camera but I got a real charge from the system so I did the camera immediately. I was attracted mostly to the Android Auto, Apple Carplay, backup camera, 16 band EQ, steering wheel control, and the built-in mic. A lot of stereos have a clunky clip mic on a wire but the mic is on the top corner closest to the driver and picks you up quite well. My mom and Dad said the call quality was good. Touchscreen works as well as you need it to; nice and responsive. The EQ really lets you get the best possible sound. 16 bands is "above and beyond" but I made use of it all. Steering wheel control was easy to hookup with three wires once you lookup what wires on your factory harness(es) are used for that function. It learned the buttons on the first try. The backup camera actually turns on when you put the car in reverse! My wife has a Sony that still requires tapping on the screen to switch over to the camera but this is all done for you along with a small reduction in volume to help you concentrate. The volume returns after you switch out of reverse. The sound is better than the factory pioneer head unit my Scion had in it and has shown me that the factory pioneer speakers can actually sound good with a better stereo. I recommend this highly if the features are important to you or especially if you have a slightly older vehicle you want to modernize. I can't wait to get my custom boot image file from the company.
