Are sliced beef strips the only way this seasoning works or will it work with ground beef in a jerky gun for stick jerky?

i use 97% lean ground beef every year. I make 24 lbs of jerky. Its a family tradition now, it started in 1992. we didnt have money to buy xmas giftes so we picked walnuts off the ground and made candied walnuts and jerky for all the family. they wont let me stop, so now its a family thing every year.

why is the jerky soice i orderd is not the the one they shiped not a happy shoper

I used to buy mine from Bed, Bath and Beyond, but they stopped selling it for some reason. Maybe it was just my store though. Check yours to see if they still do.

Do you need to let it set in the fridge for 24 hours for ground meat like the other seasonings? I noticed all the other seasonings this was required.

While the directions don't say to refrigerate after adding the seasoning we have found that the jerky seems to taste better if you do refrigerate it for a while. We have done this for as little as a couple of hours to as long as 24 hours. Longer seems to be better to us.
