Just had a wellness test done and my cholesterol was down after taking bergamot for six months.

After taking this item for a short period I feel like I have a little more engery. I am unsure it it has helped my cholesterol levels or not as I have not had them rechecked recently. The pills have no smell or flavor that I can tell, making them easy to take. I will updated my review at a later date. #purchased on amazon.

This Citrus Bergamot really works. I wanted to wait until I had my blood test to see the results. My cholesterol would not come down no matter what I tried with diet. I don't eat red meat or any fatty foods. The dr finally said that it was just my body and had nothing to do with my diet. I started taking the Citrus Bergamot the end of April and my test last week was great. The good cholesterol was up and the bad was down. Awesome product.

let me start by saying I received a 150 count bottle and not the 90 count that several people have complained about, but when I ordered I stated I would return these if I was sent a 90 count battle. I call these 600 mg because that is what it says on the back side of the label, they get the 15,500 mg by using a 25:1 Extract (fruit), called Citrus bergamia, whatever that is. So, if you take 600 mg multiplied by 25 you get 15,000 mg, so maybe they threw in the extra 500 for good measure, to come up with 15,500 mg. To all this, I say baloney, they are 600 mg capsules. I bought these because I price shop everything, especially on Amazon where some of the sellers are taking moon shots with their outrageous price. I shop all herbs by capsule count and content per capsule, if you do the same then you know exactly what I am talking about, you push aside the sellers statements and read the labels. I also find half the sellers telling you to take 2 to 3 capsules per day and sometimes more, to achieve the mg count on the label, to me this amounts to false advertising, so beware. Using my search methods I found these to be a good value, this time around, however, don’t count on a fair price the next time you buy because some sellers get greedy if they sell enough product, then raise the price over their competitors, sometimes by a considerable amount, as did my last supplier of Citrus Bergamot.

I have been using this product for a couple of weeks so I am unsure of how well it has lowered my cholesterol. However, I can say that the capsules are easy to take and do not have an unpleasant taste or smell. I also have not had any negative side effects from them either. Once I have my cholesterol checked I will update my review of the product’s performance. #Purchased on Amazon.

I am not a fan of statins, so after reading the reviews and some medical information online, I purchased this for my high cholesterol to replace the statin that I was taking. After 4 months of use (one pill per day, which falls into the guidelines shown on the bottle), my blood test showed my triglycerides improved but all other cholesterol numbers were worse than when on the statin. After looking back at the product description, the cholesterol claims are very generic (balance cholesterol levels). The only specific claim is for triglycerides (balancing triglycerides level). For my situation, this is not a good replacement for a statin.
