Quiet, Smooth, and Reliable. The Keyboard / Mouse Duo You Need!
I recently purchased the HP 230 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo Set, and I am extremely impressed with its quality and performance. Right out of the box, the setup was effortless - just plug in the USB receiver, and both the keyboard and mouse were ready to go instantly. No drivers, no hassle, true plug-and-play convenience! The keyboard feels solid and well made, with quiet, responsive keys that offer a comfortable typing experience. The layout is intuitive, and the low-profile design makes typing a breeze. It also has a sturdy build quality, ensuring durability over time (though I only bought this last year). The wireless mouse is just as impressive. It fits comfortably in hand, glides smoothly across surfaces, and has precise tracking. The click response is satisfying without being too loud, making it great for both work and casual use.Battery life has been excellent so far, and the wireless connection is strong and reliable, with no lag or dropouts. Overall, this HP 230 combo is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a good quality, no fuss wireless keyboard and mouse set at a decent price. Highly recommended!

HP 230 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo Set, easy setup and use
Product Review: Keyboard and Mouse SetI recently purchased a keyboard and mouse set, and I was impressed with the quick delivery. The items arrived promptly, which was a positive start to the experience. However, I noticed that the box looked open and gave the impression of being a returned item. This raised some concerns about the condition and quality of the products inside.Setup and Initial ImpressionsUpon setting up the keyboard and mouse, I encountered an issue with the keyboard—it initially failed to work. After some troubleshooting, I discovered that changing the battery resolved the problem. Once the new battery was in place, the keyboard functioned as expected.PerformanceBoth the keyboard and mouse perform adequately for everyday tasks. The keys on the keyboard are responsive and comfortable to type on, while the mouse operates smoothly and accurately. Despite the initial setup hiccup, the overall performance is satisfactory.Issues and ConcernsOne notable issue is that the Caps Lock light on the keyboard does not work, inconvenient, as there is no visual indicator to show when the Caps Lock is active. While this doesn’t affect the keyboard's core functionality, it is a noticeable flaw that detracts from the user experience.Pros and ConsPros:Quick deliveryResponsive and comfortable keyboardSmooth and accurate mouse performanceCons:Packaging appeared to be previously openedInitial battery issue with the keyboardCaps Lock light not functioningConclusionOverall, the keyboard and mouse set performs well once set up, despite some initial challenges. The quick delivery was a plus, but the opened packaging and the non-functional Caps Lock light are concerns that should be addressed by the seller. If you're looking for a reliable keyboard and mouse for basic tasks and can overlook these minor issues, this set is a reasonable choice. However, be prepared for potential setup troubleshooting and the lack of a Caps Lock indicator light.

Shape of keys is not as shown
I like the short-press keys that are almost silent and the mouse is comfortable and accurate too. But trying to buy a keyboard membrane for it is proving impossible - because the shape of the keys (particularly the enter key) is not standard and is different to that pictured! So for that reason alone, I think I will have to return it and buy elsewhere..... :-/

Great keyboard at great value
Great value. Good built, battery should last ages. Well designed with soft keys and simplified with one usb dongle working for both the keyboard and the mouse.

Nice quality reliable brand
Key board its self regarding the alphabet is more compact than my previous keyboard, however it has a very nice feel when typing. Very easy to connect, literally just put the connection into the usb port hole, batteries into keyboard and mouse - which are supplied, and away you go. I didnt realise it was HP, which is a very reliable brand. Im very impressed, espcially when its replaced one I purchased only 6 months ago from Currys; their own brand Goji, which was £53.00. I should have saved myself some money. I would highly recommend this nice little set.

Quality
Functions perfectly, with usb wireless connection there’s been no lag. Good size looks well on desk. Very quiet and comfortable and has replaced a much more expensive keyboard for me based on comfort

quiet
I bought this as a cheap hobbyist keyboard to have around in case I need to quick keyboard to log in to a server or a raspberry pi or something where is isn't my main PC keyboard. But actually, the keyboard has a nice rubbery apple feel rather than the plastic tactile feel. This doesn't mean that you don't get any movement, they are still plastic with travel, but only half the travel of the big keyboard and as a result you can build up some speed. The mouse is marginally better than those small mice that seem to trend these days that require you to hold them like a crab, but this does a decent job of filling the palm, although it doesn't have a weighty feel at this price and feels cheap, but it is still useable.

Does the job
Have had this about a month now and while the keyboard is great (nice design, keys sound good, works great). The mouse leaves a lot to be desired. The feel of the mouse is very bulky and the plastic feels quite cheap. The scrolling wheel is very clunky. And after about 2/3 weeks worth of use the tracking has become very jittery. It's usable but I am already thinking about replacing it as it's a bit frustrating. If you're looking for something cheap and cheerful and won't need to use it for long periods I'm sure this would do great but as someone who uses it for 8+ hours a day for work I would not recommend it.
