Fluval products are more expensive but well worth the extra

I have a couple of different air pumps and this particular one is running a fry tank, both ports are in use ( double air filter sponge and additional bubbler) and it produces enough air pressure to run both effectively - the higher the required airflow, the noisier the unit becomes. It’s easy to use and can be hung vertically or sat flat on a surface, the dials are easy to ready and easy to adjust but it is a little bit bulky.

Works great, good output and adjustment on each separate air line. Easy to set up and use and has good air output. Only downside is which does loose this product one star is that it’s the most noisy part of my tank. Constantly vibrating as it pumps

The A202 is a chunky pump coming in at 0.75 kg so it is stable and won’t wobble off a firm surface with its spiky rubber feet clinging on. The pump is delivered without pipe work, check valves or air stones - so I guess that saves Fluval a few pennies in manufacturing and supply costs. The manual has a warning the use of non-Fluval accessories could damage the pump - this is not credible. In any case I bought a pack of tubes, check valves and air stones from this site at a modest price. I am running a DIY sponge filter and one air stone from the pump, they fed by 2 metre pipes. The twin control knobs are both set on minimum - the pressure up to max only appears to be an increase of about 20%. In fact there does not seem to be individual control of the two outlets. Fitting air pipes is simple with a dab of washing up liquid to ease the pipes onto the recessed nipples. Warranty is 1 year plus another year on registration. The pump noise is a quiet hum and from ten is barely heard. From a foot away I measured about 40 dB, that’s about whispering level. Air outlets and power inlet are both on the same side I found this useful for installation.

It's so loud it sounds like an electric saw. You also can't just run one line and leave the other unplugged, or it only blows air out of the unplugged outlet and the other line gets no air? I may have received a faulty unit, not sure, but I've tried everything, ran 2 stones, 1 stone, left nothing plugged in, tried putting it on different surfaces, and it literally sounds like an electric saw its awful. EDIT : I have ordered a replacement for this product and the replacement is almost silent. Updating my review to 5 stars, it would seem the one I got at first was faulty.

Seems powerful and works well with air stones, not sure how genuine this is as the one of the control dials is backwards and changing the settings makes a difference but not as much as I expected.

Super easy to connect up , with 2 air ports makes it easy to regulate flow with adjustment wheels on the top. Noise level is a low hum but not crazy like some out there if anything you can't really notice it if you have both airlines active. Currently using it with a sponge filter and 1 air stone and so happy with flow rate !

Quiet and powerful, compared it to the Tetra APS300 and seems to be a strong but much less noise. Using a 240L aquarium with two air stones - biggest challenges it getting air stone that actually bubble whole length!

Pour le prix, il n'y a aucun accessoire même pas les tuyaux d'air qui sont pourtant présentés dans les images de description de la pompe. ..... Mais plus dans la partie description (Porte à erreurs ...) Pompe inutilisable en l'état !

Good product, bubbles make more noise. Pump is silent.

Esta de maravilla, para hacer pompas en acuario, y nada ruidoso.

Dejo de funcionar a los 4 meses por el precio esperaba más me sorprende ya que tengo más productos de la marca y van de maravilla

Very quiet unit....would like a bit more pressure, but works fine..
