The nutritional value is off the hook! Great for constipation!!
These are so wonderful and taste great! They arenโt to dry or wet. The color is true to nature . Digestive Health: Figs are an excellent source of dietary fiber and prebiotics, which help regulate bowel movements and support a healthy gut microbiome.Bone Density: High levels of calcium, potassium, and magnesiumwork together to improve bone density and may help prevent conditions like osteoporosis.Heart Health: The potassium in figs helps balance sodium levels to manageL high blood pressure. Additionally, their fiber and antioxidants may help lower cholesterol and reduce cardiovascular risk.Antioxidant Power: Figs are rich in polyphenols and flavonoids, which combat oxidative stress and may protect against chronic inflammation and certain diseases.Skin Health: Vitamins A, C, and K, along with antioxidants, promote collagen production and may improve skin elasticity while protecting against free radical damage. Yes, I grabbed that off google but it really should be shared everything they do for your body. The size of the bag is big and the organic aspect makes these top notch! Iโm in love! Also easy to chew, the texture isnโt tough.Just had to come back and say these really help with constipation!!!

Delicious
I love figs. I did find that some of them were dried with the stem on them. Be careful. These small ends look fine, but the canโt be chewed and eaten. Other than watching for the stem, these figs are great.

Top Quality Figs!
I'm on my second bag of these dried figs. Much better than the usual "strung together in a circle" figs I've always bought. These are bigger, not strung up and just dry enough - they sort of melt in the mouth. It's nice to know they're organic which may account for their great taste. My only complaint is the zip-loc bag's closure. You have to make sure the tracks have sealed properly, or the figs may go bad. So I've transferred mine to a glass storage container. Problem solved.

Autoimmune reaction /white powder (?) on the fruit
Iโm on Plant Paradox diet (Dr. Gundry) and while figs arenโt discouraged on it, every now and then I get an autoimmune reaction to some food. Some years ago I got one after eating some dried figs. This year I decided to try some figs again because I had a craving. Lo and behold, after having consumed two bags I ended up with an autoimmune flair up and had to go on medication. I assume there is some microorganism that lives on dried figs that causes this reactionโI donโt get one from fresh fruit. This by no means is a reflection on the quality of the product even though as my father says, who knows whatโs added to it to keep it fresh and do I really have 100% assurance only whatโs on the label is inside. The truth is, I donโt.It might just be that itโs whatever likes to live on the figs that causes the reaction. If youโre new to autoimmune diets, please know reactions you get to foods are different than allergies. Iโm allergic to no known foods in existence. The autoimmune reactions to foods happen among others as I understand through the mechanism of molecular mimicry. This might mean that some microbe will make your body throw a fit, and various microbes do live on dry fruit. In particular, figs often develop some sort of white film on them.Last but not least, it is by no means certain Iโd have had this reaction had I stuck to eating one or two pieces of this fruit. They are delicious mind you.I hope this helps. Last but not least: obviously none of this is medical advice, but I bet you knew it anyway. :)Thanks for reading. I hope this was helpful.UPDATEI opened the bag of those figs to take a look again. Itโs not even that there is white sediment on top, itโs actually white POWDER (FLOUR???) or whatever it is, looks like added to help with moisture or spoilage. THIS IS NOT MENTIONED ON THE PACKAGE. And AS FAR AS I KNOW IT IS ILLEGAL NOT TO LIST ALL FOOD INGREDIENTS IN THE PRODUCT. To the company selling this, did you bother to confirm what the INGREDIENTS in this thing are? Or do you just buy some bulk product from Turkey, put it in a bag, and not care? Should I send it to a lab and test for whatever is stuck to the fruit? Have you cost me autoimmune breakouts and medication? Iโm well aware how companies market their products on Amazon without putting minimum care into even labeling things properly, but this is FOOD. Also, does the manufacturer or the seller bother to reply at all? Is the powder some toxic preservative that is not listed on the package? Should I do a lab test and if anything comes out of it sue for negligence?

Best figs around
I used to get Calimyrna Figs from my local grocery store, along with some mission figs. I like the mission figs, but I really love the Calimyrna Figs. I was VERY disappointed when the store stopped carrying them, thinking they were just out, but every store I went to stopped carrying them, I had no idea why! I kept putting off buying them here, until recently, and when they arrived, I couldn't wait to open the bag. I can't tell you how really wonderful and moist they were straight out of the bag when still a little warm from the travel to my house. Even my wife liked them, and she isn't a fig lover. They really were great. I put them in the fridge as they say to keep it refrigerated when opened, although the past figs I bought I never did that, and had no problems, but since this was such a large bag, I thought it best. They are a little tougher after being cold for a while, and maybe a little shock in the microwave might moisten them up a bit, (I have often soaked dried dates in water for 10 or 15 minutes when this happened with good results) but most of the time, I usually pack a baggie full of them and eat them at work as a snack over a weeks time. If you like these figs, don't hesitate getting them, (if you've never tried them your missing a treat) especially if you can't get them at your local stores. They'll last a while, 40 ounces is a lot. About 13 of them weigh 8 oz, which makes about 65 per bag, and I usually eat 3 or 4 at a time. Not a bad deal at all. I will most definitely get more of these as they get eaten up.

Pretty Good, but NOT wysiwyg
Not only are these smaller than pictured (sadly, very typical advertising), the oats aren't on the outside, as you can see.So, because of this, the bars (opened Fig, and Fig +Blueberry ones) are a bit sticky. While they taste pretty good, I feel that there's too much sodium in them, which isn't be good for people who require a low Sodium diet. Or, are sensitive to it.And, for the cost, I don't think I'll be buying these again. A darn shame, as I truly enjoy figs, blueberries, and strawberries.
