I bought these because the other dye colors I bought on here were terrible. The other brand on here (shorter and wider) would just pop off (the spout) and the whole bottle would pour out right into my soap base. Also, the part around the top ended up in my husband’s bath bomb and one of my soaps too. These are better because they don’t do this and they seem to have a richer color. I’m just learning how to make soaps, etc...They don’t last very long and I’ve had two leak out. Price wise it’s these or the other brand since I can’t pay too much right now. The Micas are nice but I don’t always want a pearl or satin look. So I go with these for now...3 times now. Sometimes you just gotta pick your poison, as they say...hope this helps someone...:) I’ll try to post photos but right now it’s not letting me ...

The dyes are amazing and very easy to use. The colors are really pretty, especially when you mix them, and they work well in my soap base. I also like the dropper tops because it makes it easy to control how much you use. The bottles are a bit small, but overall I’m happy with the results and would use them again for soap making.

The colors in the Ktdorns Soap Dye Set are absolutely beautiful, and they mix well with soap bases. I bought this set specifically for soap making, and I was pleased with the selection of colors provided. However, I didn't realize that each bottle is only 6ml – they are quite small! If you’re planning to use these for a lot of soap projects, this size might not be enough, especially if you want deeper, more saturated colors. Overall, it’s a nice variety, but keep the size in mind if you need a larger quantity.

I've been using these to color my melt & pour soaps for a few months now and in some applications they work well. When adding to clear soap, only a drop or two is needed and it gives a rich color. In white soaps though, I can easily add 4-5x what I needed compared to the clear soaps and only get a pastel version of the color. Also I recently tried doing a design with layers and shapes inside, but after a few weeks, the colors started to bleed into each other and all the distinct shapes are now a blur.

These are nice for soap making. I just wish the bottles were slightly bigger for that price. Nonetheless, you do get a nice assortment of colours.

Most of these colours will NOT hold in a cold process soap. Can't imagine what they'd be like in HP. In thirty seconds the initial pleasant minty green colour turned into a vile bowl of shart and no amount of additional colourant would save it. Proud maker of the worst looking loaf of soap ever thanks to these. Save yourself the pain and get mica instead.

Work great only only need one or two jobs. A little goes along way.
