Waterproof Rain Cover Camera Protector

This was a last minute purchase for our November European vacation. The weather showed rain most days and I was worried we wouldn't be able to use our Canon DSLR camera if it was raining. I didn't want to miss out on pictures so I purchased this mainly due to price and prime shipping availability. This cover was perfect. It's lightweight and folds up nearly flat so it's easy to carry. It came in handy during our trip and did exactly as it should. Seeing the screen through the plastic was easy and I didn't worry about our camera being ruined. My husband did have to help me put it on the camera when we needed it because I couldn't put the cover on, zip it and hold the camera all while walking so if you are traveling solo you may need to stop and find a surface to prep your camera and cover. Overall, I would buy again. It's of good quality and the price was right.

This is a well-made, easy to use and versatile product to fit both full frame and smaller DSLR cameras. Although I've had only two occasions to use this cover, I can say the camera itself remained dry while only the front filter of the lens received any moisture from a reasonably hard rain. So all in all, the cover does what it was intended to do and it appears it will be resilient through at least a few years of occasional use. Recommended and I will purchase again if ever required.

I didn't have an occasion to use this rain cover until recently as I don't do much landscape photography anymore. I wouldn't use it for long periods of time in heavy duty rain or snow but it served its purpose in some recent light rain. It has a clear center portion that allows you to see your camera and manipulate the dials and such when your hands are in the side sleeves. The bottom has a 2 way zipper so you get it on and off and put it over a tripod as in the picture while zippering it on the ends toward the center tripod head. It came with a small microfiber cloth to wipe your camera lens/body if needed and an elastic strap with velcro you can be use to snug things up even more. As you can see from the photo the sleeves for the arms and camera lens can be tightened around the camera. Overall a good product as it's lightweight and not bulky for travel but again not one I would care to trust in heavy rain or snow or for prolonged periods of time.

I don't often write reviews since I don't usually have time. For this experience I am making the time. For something I will only be using occasionally I did not want to spend a lot of money on this sort of protective cover. I bought this product solely off the recommendation of a friend. When I received the product the elastic valcro strap was missing from the package. I contacted Venterior via their website to explain what was missing. I received an email reply promptly within a few hours. this was on a Thursday. I was asked Amazon order number, and my mailing address. By Friday I was was informed there was another package being shipped and would receive it by Tuesday. True to their word I received the replacement as promised, complete with the missing elastic strap. I recommend this product because it does what it is supposed to without spending a lot of money, but mot importantly due to the excellent customer service I received from Venterior. For a mere $13 item they could have easily stuffed it off. But they went all out to make sure the order was right, corrected and that I was happy with my purchase. Many companies could learn a thing or two about customer service from Venterior!

I think the product does all that it is intended, but I do think the material is a bit stiffer than I like, this may be because it is new, but overall, its better than just regular clear plastic ones, I do like that the window is firm, makes it easier to keep everything in view and such.

I have a older model Cannon EOS that I take on ATV riding trips. We ride in DUSTY and often WET conditions. I was thrilled to find this rain cover for our Colorado trip. I worked wonderfully to help keep my camera dry (and helped protect from dust and mud) as we had to wear rain gear most of the time due to scattered storms. It was definitely WAY too big for my camera but i just rolled the lens cover back when shooting and pulled it over the lens after to protect the camera. I didnt have to stash the camera in my bags to protect it to while riding and was able to keep the camera on my person to easily grab and shoot (instead of unpacking and packing it back in bag every time). The rain cover was well worth the price and will last many trips. wish I had had it in 2015 on our extremely DUSTY atv trip in Utah.

was easy to place camera in the product even with a 28 to 300mm zoom lens.......the problem i had was keeping the clear plastic view finder aligned with the viewfinder on the camera.....for some reason i also had a problem with the zoom lens locking which made it difficult to zoom up and down quickly........i used the waterproof rain cover twice once on the maid of the mist and a second time in the cave of the wind at niagara falls anyone who has been there and done that knows you get soaked so everyone is given a rain poncho to wear so it only makes sense to have one for your camera....i believe that the more you use the rain protector the problems would start to disappear.......photos are from the maid of the mist and the cave of the wind.........

I got this last minute for a rainy maternity shoot, to protect my equipment in the rain. It kept the camera dry, for the most part, (it was SUPER heavy rain.) however my issues were the clear plastic window that you’re supposed to use to see the view finder of the camera, it kept fogging up, this could be due to humidity because I’m located in south Mississippi, but it was frustrating. The other thing I found aggravating is the lens hood part kept sliding down over the actual lens. It has a bungee cord type thing to cinch over the lens, but when I would go to zoom it didn’t matter, it would keep me from zooming or completely come un-cinched and cover the lens. Other than that it served its purpose. It was raining pretty hard, and my clients were great, but on top of the rain, the poncho over the camera just added to the stress.

I bought this primarily for use with a wide angle lens on my Nikon D850 so that I could leave it out all night shooting astronomical targets and star trails. It fits well, though with a long lens it wouldn't fit quite as well. The body section is spacious, easily accommodating the D850 with battery grip. In addition to keeping things dry, it will serve as a nice heat trap to keep the camera warm and extend the battery life with a hand warmer tucked inside. Nice product and very good value.

Well made and flexible. Arrived quickly and before they promised. I use for Nikon D7200 fits well.

Worth it For the price , I got a long time use out of this. Worked great in the pouring rain on the beach photographing surfing. And a couple video shoots. I live on the wet coast and for the price this item lasted one winter season and that's good enough for this guy. I still use it but it hold in water now. Could refresh the waterproof with nicwax

Love it. Protects my Canon 6D

The material was surprisingly durable. I had purchased this in hopes it would give me a chance to stay outside shooting in the cold a little longer. However, I returned it because there wasn't a space for the tripod beneath. You just had to zip it as far as possible and every time I went to readjust my shot it would unzip a little. I just wanted something a little more sealed.
