good brakes
powerful stopping and quiet, seemingly low dust so far no fitment issues 2012 camry note this set does not include the pad spreaders. I can’t speak for the included hardware, I don’t remember if I used it or not

Good brakes
I purchased these based on the amount of satisfied users. I installed theses with the matching quiet cast rotors. (Bought separately ) and I have 0 issues. No brake dust. Completely silent & I’m stopping on a dime. Will come back to check on durability. For the price I paid I don’t see myself choosing a different company other than Bosch for my es350/Camry

2013 Toyota Avalon - easy to do, lots of things included
So it took me 2 hours to do all 4 wheels, because it was my first time. Watch a video, and do the bare minimum of disassembly! You should be able to rotate the calipers out after removing just ONE bolt. Also, unless your brakes are in bad condition, you can actually push the pistons back in by hand, after putting on the new pads. (I didn't have to uncap the brake fluid reservoir, but then again mine was not full to the brim either.) But don't rely on it! Borrow a clamp from someone. If your parking brake is loose, now is the time! There is a small rubber plug on the rear rotors, take it out, using a flashlight find the little "tooth" gear/cog, and turn it up with a screwdriver until the parking brake pads barely touch. Look it up, it's not hard, just finicky. Do both. Also, the cable adjustment for the parking brake is at the parking brake pedal, you need to stick your head down under the steering column, pretty easy. You may need a wrench (plain old one) to hold the counter-nut to the caliper bolt. It's 17mm for the front, smaller on the rear but I didn't need one there so I don't know. Some other way of holding it would also work. The Avalon DOES HAVE lift points for a floor jack. The front one is easy, between the wheel, IT LOOKS LIKE A PIMPLE WITH A HOLE. It kind of sticks down from the chassis. The rear one is between where the dual exhaust splits, but it's pretty far forward and my jack couldn't reach, so I did the rears one wheel at a time. To put the new pads in, you'll likely need to stick your head well into the wheel well to see from the inside side, otherwise the pads catch on the new shims ("abutment clips"). You did use the new provided clips, right? Right?! Anyway, with your head so far in, make sure your car is on stands, not on the jack, and stick the wheel that you took off under the frame just in case. As the great Haynes repair manuals used to say, "Installation is the reverse of removal." Good luck. PS. The pads are great.

Little tough on the install
I have done a hundred brake jobs in my life. These pads are very difficult to install. The clips sort of get in the way when you're trying to slide the pads into the frame. Once they are in, the pads slide in and out inside of the frame very nicely and hopefully the lubricant included will keep them sliding nicely for years to come. I've used Wagner before and don't remember this kind of hassle. I opted not to use Wagner again because although the say Quiet Something on the name, they do end up squealing after a while. I noted no noise on these, but then again they're brand new. Almost double the price of Wagner so hoping that translates into better quality and no squeal ever.

Well Made Pads and Easy Install
Installed these on Front of 2014 Camry after I was disappointed with Cheaper Wagner Pads that made loud rubbing noise when slow braking and slip braking. These Bosch Quiet-Cast Premium were easy to install, operate quietly and have great braking. An Old Mechanic told me once to try to gradually applying brakes until the Pads are Set with the Rotor, avoiding hard braking for first 50 miles, if able. I replaced all the clips that came with the set and removed then re-greased the pushpins bolts that were in the rubber boots with the grease that was included. My Camry uses the two Spreader Springs on each brake to keep the pads from rubbing when not in use and wearing out prematurely. The Kit 'Did Not' come with new Spreader Springs, so I used the old ones and There were Holes in each Pad to insert the ends, so good to go. Reminder, whenever buying Auto Parts from Amazon, be sure to enter your Vehicle Info in to verify Direct Fit, after large amount of parts purchased, it has not led me wrong yet...
