Supports 1920x1200 if you tweak Windows 10 via CRU by ToastyX
This adapter cable works fine. I was trying to drive a 1920x1200 monitor via a ThinkPad T460 on a dock. I'd never had luck with this having tried all ports (Windows 10 would not list an option for 1920x1200). The laptop+dock *was* able to drive a 4K monitor. I finally found the free Custom Resolution Utility (CRU) by ToastyX on-line and used that to add the new resolution. Once done, the Windows 10 > right-click desktop > Display Settings listed the 1920x1200 option for that external monitor. This cable allows me to take advantage of one more video port on the ThinkPad Ultra Dock. Screen image looks good and sharp. Update: I have to run CRU's restart64.exe from time-to-time since Windows (or something) "forgets" the 1920x1200 setting. This usually happens after I've removed the laptop from the docking station and then put it back on the dock (or something along those lines).

Works great
The image quality looks fantastic when the HDMI cable is hooked up. It’s very responsive with my second monitor. It’s annoying that I even had to get the thing but it does work. And it works well.

Stopped annoying reconnect/disconnect
I was having a lot of problems with the Call Digit 3 dock for Mac talking to the display port connected monitor (talking to my HDMI based console KVM) disconnecting and reconnecting randomly. Tried a few DP -> HDMI cables as well as a "no-name" adapter and while the cables/adapter on other setups worked fine I kept having disconnects. I read that the dock requires an "active" display port to HDMI adapter so I found one this one. Attached it and now everything works perfectly. Not 100% sure why I needed this, but it fixed my issue.

Highly recommended!
This is an excellent adapter if you need to connect a DisplayPort device to an HDMI display. The image quality is fantastic, and it supports 4K resolution at 60Hz. It's also great for Eyefinity multi-display setups. The only drawback is that it's a bit pricey, but it's definitely worth the money if you need this kind of performance.

Solution to a problem
I had purchased my CalDigit USB-C Pro dock and connected it to my Dell Inspiron 7000. No display at all. I had searched the Internet. Some stated that the Dell doesn't support USB Type C even though it had the port. I didn't give up. I had discovered a Youtube video that talked about the difference between active adapters and passive adapters. I decided to purchase CalDigit Active Adapters and my HDMI monitors work great. I am glad that this worked and I am able to utilize these older Dell monitors. Better value than having to replace the monitors.

Resolved intermittent flicker issues!
I had a perfectly acceptable USB-C to HDMI cable which I used to connect a CalDigit TS3 Plus to a Viewsonic monitor (using both in conjunction with a 16" MacBook Pro, Intel model). Last year, that connection developed an annoying and occasional flicker / flashing problem. The video would unaccountably flash / flicker off and then, usually after only a very brief time (less than 20 seconds), it would flash back on. It rarely interfered with work, but man was it every annoying. I tried various troubleshooting steps, but nothing seemed to resolve it. And so thus, I came to decide to just change the connection completely and utilize the Display Port connection on the TS3 Plus. I didn't want to play with third party converters and risk having it all go sideways, so I decided to use the CalDigit converter. I swapped my existing cable for the converter along with a current HDMI cable (capable of 4k) and all has been well ever since. I am quite satisfied and would strongly recommend the solution to anyone experiencing similar aggravations with their video connection. I would also suggest using the CalDigit, because it "just works" (and is quite reasonably priced).

It works on a Beelink GTR Mini DP port
Needed this in order to connect a 3rd monitor that does not have a Display Port connector. A unidirectional DP to HDMI adapter would not work on the Beelink Display Port but this active adapter does. I haven't tested the specs but it works for my needs and found it to be a quality looking product. Nothing to fall apart and it certainly is not fragile like some other adapters I used over the years. Also got it 2 days earlier than expected... Thanks
