Bolted right on and works flawlessly! Much easier than trying to rebuild the original gunked up carb and now added the option to run on propane!! Very happy with purchase. Had to re-use the choke arm attaching bolt from the original carb as this one did not include one... no big deal. No modifications necessary on my 8750 Predator genny.

I was looking for a dual fuel carburetor, but all I found was a couple "specific" to my generator for $200. That was insane to me, looked into making one with the old carb, would've been a hassle but doable. Then I found this one, took no time to get in on. Only 9 nuts a couple small hose clamps and 2 cable holders. The 2 wires match identical to my predator 9k generator, I made NO modifications. Inlet for the propane is a little tight to the wheels but 1 zip tie fixed that. I used a 3/8 hose and regulator that came off my outdoor construction heater. Worked 1st time on cold start up. $42 this thing is great! Doubled the possible run time on my generator for emergencies being able to utilize both propane and gasoline.

I bought this to install on a Predator 8750 that’s about 10-12 years old so I can run it on natural gas. The install was super simple. The carburetor was packaged well. It took me less than an hour to install. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because of the way you have to connect a gas line to the carburetor, is a male ferrule. I would much rather be able to use a female pipe thread to screw my line to. But I was not able to remove the ferrule fitting because it hits on the face of the carburetor. I used a rubber gas line and hose clamps which in the end works fine but looks a little cheesy. The end results is that my generator runs great with natural gas and that is what I wanted.

As many have stated this carburetor is a fantastic item and is actually cheaper than replacing a clogged original carb, plus you get the added advantage of duel fuel use. Win win! There is a slight catch 22 here though if you happen to have one of the newer Predator 8750s like I do. Evidently Predator changed the location of the air intake hose on the 8750 to the back of the air box. Again, as stated the carburetor is a perfect fit but it will require some modifications to the air filter housing. My workaround was to cut the problem air intake “nipple” off the back and relocate it to the side of the box. It is tapered (one end smaller than the other) so I drilled the hole on the side of the housing just large enough to push the small section through from the inside of the air box to the outside. I actually used a heat gun to heat up the area around the hole to make it “pliable” enough to force the nipple through and snug up tight. I also had to use my Drimel tool to shave off a little extra plastic from the back of the housing where it hits the new carburetor. I used JB Weld to plug the hole where the original nipple was. Anyone with just basic handy man skills can accomplish this and there are several YouTube videos that really helped me. I would have probably never attempted the work around had I not seen some of those videos.
