Peace for parent and baby
I wish I could give this 100 stars, my baby was in NICU for a number of days and this has given me NOTHING but peace of mind. It does go off when baby is moving so other than that no false reads. I sleep so good and after a few days you will trust it as well! Amazing product

Peace of mind starts on Day 1!
My baby was actually just born today, so while we haven't had the chance to officially put the sock to the test during a full night at home yet, I can already tell this was the right move. As a new parent, the "first night" nerves are no joke, and just having this ready to go in the nursery is giving me so much peace of mind. The fact that it’s FDA-cleared to track live heart rate and oxygen levels is the main reason we went with the Dream Sock. It feels more like a reliable piece of health tech than just a standard baby monitor. The setup was quick and the app is super intuitive, which is exactly what you need when you're functioning on zero sleep. Just knowing that it’s there to alert us if anything falls out of the normal range makes the transition home from the hospital feel a lot less intimidating. If you're an anxious parent (or just a first-timer like me), the mental relief this provides before you even use it is worth every penny.

An expensive item to add unwanted stress, never able to get the app to connect so its useless.
So our second child ended up coming quite a bit early and because he was a premie we figured let's get this for peace of mind and to take some fear and stress off us. It ended up being the total opposite of that and just added to my stress and took quite a bit of time away for it to never work in the end. I was never able to get the sock to connect and set up with the app so in the end it just never worked. There is no way for it to be used without the app and so without the app being able to connect all I had an uncomfortable three hundred dollar sock. Every time I would try to set it up which ended up being many many times over the first two months it would try to connect but would put me in an endless loop that got me nowhere. I did try contacting the company but every time I did I was unable to get a hold of someone or called when they were closed. I will say that yes I could have tried harder or set an alarm when I knew there were open but thats the problem I have with this product, in the end you are buying this for a specific reason, the baby has a problem or for your peace of mind. Our baby came early and wanted a way to track and ease our mind and so taking all this extra work to try and make it work was a real hassle. My wife had issues following the birth and we were in and out of the hospital and so finding that extra time in the mix of the slurry my brain was at the time was hard to say the least. So in the end could I have done more to make it work? Sure, but if I am spending 300 bucks on a sock with the same tech as a 30 dollar finger O2 meter I expect it to not need all these extra hoops or there to be the problems like I faced during a time I wasn't able to handle fully. Thats why I paid the extra money in hopes of getting a problem free device. I will say that amazon was great and started a return for me but in the end by my own admission the time had passed from really thinking I could get it to work and in the end we really would have liked to have it. By the time that I gave up and decided to return it I was going to have to take a hit for a restock fee and not get the full amount refunded. It was one problem after another so in the end I just gave up and I think I might try and just give it away to someone and see if they can maybe get it to work. It's sad that in the end I was unable to get it to work and more so because I really would have loved to have an item like this during a time when we had so much going on. It would have been great to have had that piece of mind and take a little stress off us. Unfortunately it ended up adding to our stress and made nothing but problems and never worked. If you've got the time and mental where with all to try to make a 300 dollar sock work during a time where you are handling a newborn then maybe give it a try. I wouldn't recommend it however, my older kids Nintendo was a breeze to set up, a smart TV easy as pie with a guided set up, heck porting over a whole phone of passwords and apps is easy but make a 300 dollar sock link to an app? Makes me feel like a luddite.

Worth it
My pediatrician told me not to get it, but we did and loved it! It did great. It had a few false alarms but for the most part it was accurate and helped me keep peace of mind. It is sensitive, which for us the false alarms were because of my baby moving like crazy. It lasted for 16 hours on one charge. It is a little pricey, but I think it is worth the money.

Worth the investment
Works great! Shows you just the heartbeat rate and oxygen %. It cost 99.99$ a year so if you want to spend that much on it go ahead. The base has to connect to your Wi-Fi so if you travel with it, make sure you at least have a hotspot on or home wifi and a power source to it like a power bank you can hook it up to and still be close to it. Wi-Fi hotspot will also work with it. Just make sure you set it up properly. I have not tried it without Wi-Fi but you can go ahead and see if it works without Wi-Fi. The comforter on it seems really comfortable. The sink speed takes like 30 to 60 seconds for it to completely read it correctly and the ease of set up as easy as long as you follow instructions and you can also call customer service and watch YouTube tutorials on how to set it up if you want visual Instructions. And the design of the sock is soft and flexible quality on the baby‘s foot just make sure you put it on a little snug so we can read properly.

Peace of Mind for New Parents!
recently had my baby girl and decided to try the Owlet Sock and honestly, it has been one of the best purchases I’ve made as a new mom. The sock is easy to put on, stays in place, and doesn’t bother my baby at all. What I love most is the peace of mind it gives me. I can finally sleep without constantly waking up to check if she’s breathing. The app is super easy to use and the notifications are clear. It tracks her heart rate and oxygen levels, which is incredibly reassuring, especially during those first newborn weeks. The battery lasts through the night, and the charging base is quick and simple. If you’re a nervous or first-time mom (like me!), this product is a lifesaver. It’s definitely worth the price for the reassurance it provides. Highly recommend to any parent looking for extra safety and peace of mind.
