Great high power pump for misting.
Used it for misters and it works great, runs two mister sets and automatically shuts off once the pressure gets too high. This is great. I'd buy this again.

Totally satisfied - hard working small pump
I am seriously impressed with this. My backpack pump, which is of good quality but manual, blew the plastic piston on the pump and a new one was almost 35$!? I decided to look into adding a pump that could provide the output that the pumps wand could handle. This pump did the work! And whats more is that I didnt use the backback sprayer but a 55 gallon plastic drum I bought on marketplace. I attached a long sprayer feeding hose to it and put that down the drum. For power I pull this drum on an old cart I have (can only fill about 40 gallons before it starts tipping). I took a partial electrical cord and attachted one side to a nice ip68 switch and to the pump. then the other put small jumper clamps on so I could put it to my mowers battery. the tank now also has drip irrigation that I can turn on and passively pour out water. But I can also spot spray plants if I want or even strap the hose up top, lock it "on", and drive around my 6 acres spraying Humic and Fulvic acid water everywhere to improve the soil! The little pump has now run 40 gallons almost non stop in one sitting and ive probably sprayed another 50 gallons through it without a single issue. it has a feature where it gets to a specified internal pressure and shuts down until you drop that pressure. If it seems to be running continuously I recommend flowing it and its likely that there is just air in the lines not compressing like water causing this. Id highly recommend this if you want to push water in small tubing. It has a lot of nice functionality and runs easily off a 12v battery using off the shelp bits and bobs.

Effective but loud.
Nice little pump. I’m building a portable forklift battery watering system, and a lower flow rate is needed to keep acid from splashing out of the cells when watering them. The only complaint I have is how loud this thing is, but given that it’s a pump that’s expected. Make sure you winterize with something like RV antifreeze if you’re keeping it in cold environments.

Decent choice for driving a water vacuum aspirator.
I'm having a good experience with this so far. I'm using it to run a vacuum aspirator for doing vacuum distillation; this outperforms low-pressure, high-volume pumps (like fountain/aquarium pumps) by a factor of 5 for that purpose, easily. This pump is rated to draw under 40 watts, so you can use any computer power supply to run it. I've wired mine directly to a cheap, spare PSU I had laying around, but I'd recommend using an ATX breakout board if you want to go this route; some ATX PSUs won't stay on unless they have a load on some of the lower voltage lines, which a breakout board should handle for you. I've been running this for several hours at a time over the last couple days, and have had no issues with excess heat; after a few hours the motor housing is only slightly warm to the touch. The only con to this pump in my application is that when operating it in an enclosed room, it's a little noisy. The sound doesn't carry through walls or anything, but the vibrations do carry through the intake and output hoses; if either of those hoses wind up resting against a box or something, it'll be quite loud. I recommend mounting this pump to something heavy and to avoid operating it on top of any table that's prone to rattling. All in all, I'm quite happy with this. It serves the purpose I bought it for at a very reasonable price point.

It works - Just read the story below.
Although I am a couple months away from the project - I bought this for - I wanted to tell you why I did. I bought a 1984 Chevy P-30 Snap-On van in 1999 and needed a new windshield washer fluid pump and reservoir (try spelling that in English!). Could not find new parts at any cost and the truck recycler yards all had the same problems as mine. I bought one of these and installed on the firewall, bent the bracket for the old reservoir and used the 1-gallon jug the windshield fluid came in. Great fix. In 2002 I moved to Phoenix AZ to go to school. Total opposite of WA. Dry and Hot and for two years this thing cooked under the hood of the van - the water would cook off in days and would make this pump - self prime over and over. Moved to Colorado (turned out to be for 10 years) Here - Cold and DRY (avg humidity 4-8%) I put a 50% mix of alcohol to prevent freezing in -5*F conditions - and soapy water in this... and it still works. It was not my intention to hurt this poor little pump - I just wanted it to work and clean my windows - IT Did. Alcohol is bad for most cheap o-rings - and the pumping diaphragm too... But no matter what I did - IT still works -to this day in Jan. of 2018. That is why I have bought this exact model of pump. I hope this helps, Kevin

Same as the others you can find, but still perhaps worth a small premium
Looks like it's just like the others you can find for a few dollars cheaper elsewhere, but it ships faster and is perhaps slightly more likely to work. These pumps in general are very convenient and can be run at lower voltages and currents if you don't need the highest flow rate or psi. You can squeeze out slightly more psi if you disobey the instructions given (useful, by the way) and turn the limiter screw. It'll also let you reduce the limit if something downstream of this can't handle that pressure. Be aware that while it tolerates air and will self prime quickly, it doesn't actually have the ability to compress air significantly; it's meant for water. Furthermore, it doesn't produce a gallon at 100psi, it's one or the other. It means that it will start at a gallon of flow and stall (automatically cut power, rather) at 100psi of resistance. This is perfect for a faucet in an rv where the pump only runs when you open the tap, provided you don't need lots of flow. My use for this is going to be for recirculating water through an aspirator to produce suction; you can find nurdrage using one of these for that on youtube. I can't tell you whether the pressure or flow is meeting ratings or not, but if it does not and the adjustment doesn't fix it, it's likely the others don't either. Use with a 1/4" id hose and a hose clamp of some sort; the intake side might need reinforcement of some sort to not kink under suction.

2 Pumps and 2 failures. Very disappointed.
This is first time I have ever taken the time to write a negative review. Normally I would just move along but I don't want somebody else to make the mistake of ordering this pump. I found this 12v pump and it suited my needs in a greenhouse. The first pump I ordered was obviously a return, it was full of water and the wire ends were frayed. I installed it anyways and sure enough it leaked at all the seals on the pump and did not work. Ok. No big deal. Started a return order and received a replacement very quickly. Second pump was ALSO clearly a return. Upon opening the box on the second pump it was clear that someone had already installed it and returned it. The wire ends were very frayed and the pump was full of nasty water. Thinking maybe I would get lucky I installed the second pump and of course it doesn't work. I will not be ordering a third pump. There are reviews on here of people that have working pumps but I have no idea how they got a NEW functional pump. Save yourself the time and effort and get a pump elsewhere. I really hate to say that.

bayite 12V DC Fresh Water Pressure Diaphragm...
It is an okay pump but nothing special. received it today and added the connector(The one I bought locally) to the wires, that I need(It does not come with a plug-just 2 bare wires). Wiring is very thin. Am guessing 22 to 24 gauge wire. Really too small for a max 3 amp motor. Had to fix a loose connector from the red wire that plugged into the motor. The connector had not been crimped enough and was loose on the motor plug. Also noticed that the motor is not completely encased. You can see that on the description page of this motor. That is not good. No matter where this motor is installed(inside or outside), dust and moisture will get into the windings. It is not a waterproofed motor and does not claim to be. I will be using mine on a 15 gal sprayer pump pulled behind my lawn mower. Dust will get into it and I have to be careful if it starts to rain while using it. As stated by other reviewers, the 2 small clamps that come with it are useless. Go buy a decent pair, if you cannot reuse the ones on your bad motor. I also have to reverse the motor/pump 180 degrees from the old bad pump-as the water flow through it is opposite. All in all, it is not bad for $22.00. Will install it tomorrow and see what the pressure is like. If I can get 6 months use out of it, I will be happy. 6/25/2018--Installed motor/pump today. Will have to buy another piece of intake line(From inside of tank to input plug on motor) due to having to reverse the motor position 180 degrees. Intake line is now about 8 inches to short. Pressure is not bad but not real great either. It will do what I need it for but would not recommend this motor. 7/22/18 edit-Pressure turns out to be pretty good. After 2 uses, had to turn down the pressure as I was going through too much weed killer to quick. Nice pump but the exposed windings are my main issue...

Fantastic Pump
this little pump is great. it shuts off when it gets to pressure which i like and it can really move water for how small it is. its a little loud but as i only use it for camp sink i dont mind. but if you have a small van or boat and it will be mounted inside its something to consider.
