Preserved Boxwood Wreath

I am giving a favorable rating due to the fact that Amazon gave me a refund without requiring I return the wreath. The leaves are a beautiful deep, rich green. They’re preserved and thus have an amazingly realistic look and feel. That being said, live plants let alone dead plants are very fragile. When I opened the package more than several of the leaves had already fallen off. As I transferred it to the hook on the door, more leaves fell off! Despite losing so many leaves, the wreath does not look bare. That being said, it’s way too small for what I intended to use it for, and I can only anticipate that it will continue to drop leaves as time passes. I had measured 6 inches before placing my order, but I guess my mind didn’t properly visualize it because this looked way smaller than I had envisioned! I love the concept of it being made of real, preserved leaves and I understand why they charge so much for such a small piece. But all in all it was too small and fragile to work for me personally. Also, it has a funny smell but I assume it’s the chemicals they use to preserve the leaves, and I didn’t find it overpowering.

These are the sweetest most realistic dried boxwood wreaths. I am using them to hang on double arch decor. They are beautiful and well made. quality is excellent. Just what I was looking for. perfect size.

It appears so real being preserved, I'm still trying to figure out if fake. The smell is strong but pleasant. With all the decorating shows, this is a style that fits my kitchen decor. The price was perfect, as the size as well. When I was looking at the empty wall with a clock, it made sense to add this as a compliment to the space. I got lucky with the leaves. After reading reviews about the leaves coming off, I carefully handle it. Even though it didn't have a hanger, it was quite easy to hang up. I read to spritz once a month and keep out out of sunlight to preserve color and texture.

This little wreath fit a small space and added some color and pop, which is what I was looking for. Seems very well made. I know some purchasers mentioned a number of the leaves had fallen off, but I have a small boxwood topiary and the same thing happened with it. However, the loss of a few little leaves did not affect the look of the item, and that's the case with this little wreath. I am very happy with my purchase.

Oh my, I was thoroughly disappointed all the way around with the three wreaths I bought. I have never had an issue with ANYTHING I have bought on Amazon until I got these today. They have a horrible horrible smell! I had to sit them outside on my porch because of the smell in my house. Secondly, they are very flat and when you try to fluff them even a little, the leaves fall off. I had to sweep the floor from just trying to fluff. Thirdly, my hands were completely green from the dye on them from trying to fluff. I guess the worst was all the leaves that fell off them, probably a cup full from all three wreaths. Spend a little extra and go pick out some from a store, these were the worst buy ever!

Beautiful, vibrant color as other buyers have said. A little smaller than I anticipated but my fault for not measuring out how big it would be prior to ordering. I wouldn’t recommend it though. Very delicate and lost a lot of leaves already. No hanging to use on a wall & my biggest issue...IT SMELLS SO TERRIBLE! I can’t even pick it up to move it because the smell is so disgusting I don’t want it on my hands. If it does end up getting better, I’ll keep it, but otherwise it’s getting tossed.

I didn’t realize this was a real boxwood wreath. That being said, it does have a smell. I’m sure that will fade. It’s a grassy type smell. It’s very pretty in person. A beautiful, deep green. The leaves to tend to fall of with handling, but there are plenty of them so I don’t think that will be a problem. Overall it was better than I expected.

I had previously used the wreaths and attached them to the backs of the chairs in my kitchen. I then started to hang the in the windows of the house with seasonal ribbon. In the picture they are on side windows and I have used one in the middle of the larger wreath to make it look fuller. They have held very well. I spritz them with water periodically to make sure they don't dry out. They were packaged nicely and once they arrived I pulled out some of the leaves to make them look less flat. Great for Christmas decor.
