This product is amazing! It really freshens breath and gets the teeth clean. I used it on a dog, though it can be used for cats too. I like the double head angled toothbrush which is perfect for thorough cleaning. I noticed the teeth are less yellow now. There was no "fighting" or struggling because the flavor was acceptable for this dog. It is great to have a product that does the job and that the pet actually likes! If anyone has tried to give a pet medicine, he or she will know the struggle. No struggle here...awesome product!

My go to toothpaste for my dogs has been Virbac for years. I have always noticed that although I brush their teeth every day, with regular use of Virbac, their teeth were not very white and my little Pomchi rescue has routinely suffered from teeth and gum related issues. Since I switched to this product, both dogs have beautiful teeth. They are white and the toothpaste is great for doggie breath. Yellow plaque gone with regular use. My new go to for my little girls!

I bought this because my cats need an enzyme paste to help with their gum disease. The only other brand with a chicken flavor gets old quickly, one cat likes it and one cat does not. They both seem to like the flavor of this one, and the gel it quite thick, so sticks to their teeth better, and easier to get into their mouths and onto their teeth. What I don't like are the chemical ingredients. They are carcinogenic in nature, but in defense of this product, most of the cat dental pastes contain similar ingredients. I have rechecked and now it is out of stock, so will have to find a replacement. Do not really notice an improvement in the redness of their gums, or the tartar on their teeth after a few months of use.

I have two dogs, a basset hound and a red healer. Being they are country dogs, they always find the grossest thing to roll in and “snack”on...I had the shampoo, but needed some serious toothpaste and a brush to get rid of the breath of death. I saw this product with its many good qualities and reviews and ordered it. My dogs never had their teeth brushed before, but they absolutely loved it! They thought it was a treat!lol I’m assuming the chicken flavor was delicious...the death breath was gone...their teeth looked cleaner...great purchase!! I can love on my fur babies again without gagging!!

Tooth paste was great. My dog liked the flavor. I did not receive the blue double ended tooth brush shown in product picture. I received a white one with two angled heads. My dog does better with the larger single head as shown in the product picture.

I've tried teeth wipes and other brushes for my cat's teeth. He hated both until he tried this toothpaste and loved it. Every time I open the tube to brush his teeth, he thinks he's getting a treat. It took him a while to adjust to the toothbrush, but It doesn't bother him as much now. I've been brushing his teeth weekly now. His teeth and gums look healthy and thankfully his bad breath is gone as well. I will be purchasing this again when he runs out!

The gel is easy to use and the brush is a nice design. It allows you to brush both sides of the tooth at once. I was worried that the brush would be too large but it is a good size to really get in the back of the dog's mouth which is most important. MTM

After 3 weeks, my cat's hardened tartar is about 70% cleared. I assumed dental cleaning would be needed - but this toothpaste greatly reduced that chance. I brush twice a day after feeding him. I split the amount in half and brush vigorously on the two areas where tartar buildup occurs. My cat's on a raw diet so the tartar is genetic and not due to food. Bluestem interferes with the reproduction of bacteria that creates plaque along with the biofilms that sustain it. It prevents iron, magnesium, and calcium from staying in your pet's mouth. The issue here is these compounds are vital to your pet's health. Ingesting "food grade" chemicals that interfere with necessary dietary minerals is questionable and begs the question could this create a deficiency. It's incredibly effective so far. But for long-term use, I have reservations. Will stop using this after 8 weeks - hope the tartar will be completely eliminated by then. For serious tartar issues I recommend this stuff - but for routine health for plaque issues and not tartar, I would go with something that doesn't risk mineral deficiency.

My dog is a little particular with his mouth, and I was worried about if he'll even let me brush his teeth, but thankfully the chicken flavour toothpaste and the small size of the brush are perfect for him - and this has gone better than I thought it would! Within the first few days of brushing nightly, his breath smelled MUCH better. I was also hugely impressed that the company had reached out to me to ensure both the paste and brush had been in the package, since there were some that the brush was missing from. The customer service is fantastic.

Since my other preferred product was discontinued, I've started using this one, and my cat and I have had no major problems. My only minor gripe is the fact that it's meant for both dogs and cats so they just combine the brush sizes into one brush. It's kind of annoying having the unused brush just there in the way of holding it when most people won't use both brushes. But overall, the brush being used and the paste itself are serving their purpose :)

My Dog needed his teeth cleaned professionally according to the vet 2 years ago, I kept putting it off because I could not find anyone that would do it for less than 1500... I live in ripoff edmonton.... I didn't think he needed them cleaned either until just 1 month ago he was scratching his face and not eating on one side..... so it's been about 4 weeks. Brushing every other day... using the water additive..... OMG his teeth are white, his gums are nice pale pink, he can eat on both sides and doesn't swallow his food as much. Loooks like he enjoys chewing again... I was waiting to see what the vet said before I made my review. Nothing negative from the vet about the product AND TO MY SURPRISE he no longer needs his teeth professionally cleaned as per my VET. !!! I don't give the dog any sweet treats or wet food... so maybe that is why his teeth have bounced back so quickly but I just wanted to leave a review and say that this stuff works wonders. My dog is even less itchy allover it seems... I had struggled to brush his teeth in the past, but going slow, and knowing that YOU do not have to push hard, just gently get the toothpaste on, and it will do the work. It's just getting it on, and the best part letting them lick off the leftover toothpaste so they get a treat... I used the stuff from the local petstore before and it did not work as fast or as well as this, which is why I originally gave up because the dog would also run away when he saw the toothbrush coming... he doesn't enjoy it now, but doesn't run away.. so maybe in time he will get better... more I do it the less pain full it seems as well for him.. So stick with it, just let them lick it off the toothpaste the first couple of times, then gently put it on real quick, and then let them lick it off the residual (that way they don't remember the brush part just the treat part).. and then after a while you can push a little bit but don't have to push hard at all. My vet said that for results and maintenance 1 per day is best, and every other day is Minimal BUT I think because of the water additive you can do it every other day with the same results (I only use half a dose of the water additive).. It does work, give it a try!! Paired with the water additive I have seen great results!!

My puppy loves the flavour! We’ve been trying out different toothpastes and so far this one impressed me the most. Would definitely recommend this! Also, we have the water additive at home as well, which is great for freshening doggy breath! The only thing I would like to see improve is the toothbrush; to be a double headed one, with an option for a smaller toothbrush on the bottom (just a little single) only because my puppy is tiny and needs a small toothbrush. We already have 3 tooth brushes so that’s a non issue for us really, just a suggestion to improve the product for all dog sizes!

I ordered the Dog Toothpaste and Toothbrush kit designed for dogs and cats.
