7mm orange blade may be too tall for my old revolution. Slider depresses the blade but grazes. My other blades pass smoothly! Incompatible or ideas?

match the blade up to the others to see if there are any differences If you bought this as a replacement blade, it might be for a newer mandolin check the slots on the side and see if they match and are in the same and shape and position as the others If not, you might have been sent the wrong one, if the wrong one,send it back and try to get the right one,,,,Also there should be some on E-bay.
