TR-3E Ufo model kit.
Arrived today thank you. I can't say that I am 100% happy with it. But on the other hand, I can't say that I am not 100% 'Not' happy with it, in regards to quality I mean. I.E the plastic is cheap looking and very easy to break or snap. But never the less I will display it on my shelf with other UFO models and try blend it with the other ufo models.

Super. Very realistic to what is described in UFO sightings.

Having an interest in the possibility of extraterrestrials having visited our planet, and the vehicles they traveled in, I immediately decided to add this to my collection of UFO models which includes the alien ship from the 1960's television series THE INVADERS, a craft said to be kept under wraps at Area S4 in Nevada, and the "Lazar" saucer from Area 51. Now while those are the stereotypical "Flying Saucer " in design, this craft, Designated TR-3E, is triangular in shape, based on the description given by eyewitness who claim to have actually seen them. The kit consists of only six parts, the top and bottom halves of the hull, three tiny, (and very delicate) landing pads and struts, and a lunar landscape base. Despite this simplicity, it will require a little care on the part of the modeler to get a decent result. For one, the edges of the three sides of the hull halves must be carefully aligned, I'd suggest dry fitting them together, and once everything is in place clamp then together and carefully brush some liquid hobby cement along the seams. (But not too much!) The surface detail is top notch, with viewports, intake and exhauviewport, etc, clearly defined for decorating with paint pens, and fine line ink pens.

Neat little UFO, basic and simple to put together. Thank you very much. J.M.M.

I thought the kit was a bit pricey for what you got. Easy to assemble, the detail on the model itself is ok. Even though it comes in grey, you'll want to paint it as the grey has some swirls in it. That and adding some color will add some depth as well. Also the 2 halves of the body fit pretty loosely together so when gluing them together you'll want to use a clamp or rubber bands to get the seams to mesh. Honestly this was an impulse buy because of a video I saw on YouTube (just search for "ufo on aircraft carrier" it's pretty hilarious). I intend on modding this a bit to add some LEDS and if I can I'll post a picture back when I'm done. The one I bought was about $22.00 after tax (I feel it would have been better at half that price). Some body else is selling here is selling the kit for $66! Steer clear of that one!
