I have coarse, thick, 3C hair. The kind of hair where the flat iron turns off halfway through and I have to turn it back on. I have been using titanium flat irons since high school thinking that ceramics would not work. I was wrong. I was VERY wrong. I took a chance on this flatiron because of the reviews and my life has been changed. It heats up almost instantly. The cord is long enough for me to sit comfortably and do my hair. I have used it twice and both times my hair has gotten straighter than any titanium flat iron. And with a lower heat setting! For such a low price I am genuinely astounded by this flatiron. I just got it so I cannot speak on the durability but the quality is amazing. I am considering buying a 2” and a second 1” in case they discontinue it.

Okkkkkk I am sold. Love love loveeee this straightener. I have wavy/curly hair and this straightener does its job quickly and efficiently!! Leaves my hair feeling super soft and shiny. I am obsessed. The settings are really easy to change. Does not pull my hair at all.

Wow!!! My beloved Chi straightener broke after 15+ years and I was so sad so was on the market for a new straightener. I didn’t want to pay a ton of money since I don’t straightener my hair all the time, but this product makes me want to!! It works so beautifully! I also love that it’s thicker than a Chi and it heats so quickly. It’s so reasonably priced for an awesome product. Highly recommend!

Very impressed with this flat iron! My daughter is natural and wears braids frequently so her hair isn't flat ironed much. Last time she was silk pressed was about 10 years ago. When I tell you this flat iron straightened her hair, it straightened her hair! Her hair was straight, shiny, and soft! Even she was impressed. With other flat irons her hair would revert quickly because we live in humid Louisiana! But this Easter, after flat ironing her hair, she looked relaxed! It's been a week and her hair is still straight! She's worn it in a ponytail and bun since straightening it. Whenever she takes it out, its still straight and she can comb through it with ease. I give this iron a 10/10 and would definitely recommend!

Very good straightener. I have had it 6 months now. It does a great job and quick due to the bigger surface. The results come out perfect. The only thing is, using it long term it will cause breakage but that is the case for any other straighteners. I will be switching to a straightener that using air because my hair is breaking. But if you don’t use it daily only for occasions it is great.

I have purchased, tried and returned several flat irons including Babyliss, Chi, L’ange and a couple of others. This one easily and quickly tamed my frizzy, wavy hair. It has several heat options, heats quickly, and glides smoothly. I am so pleased with its function and the super low price.

Purchased after my GHD met it's demise on the tile floor and would no longer stay on. I specifically wanted a two inch plate iron. I have a few one inch and they take a lot longer and several passes to straighten each section. I also wasn't about to drop too much cash on something I might be clutzy with. This Remington had great reviews. I figured I would give it a shot. For reference I have thick, coarse Greek/Italian hair. And a LOT of it. It can be fussy with frizz unless I use heat tools. Out of the box it looks sleek. Temp adjustment and on and off buttons for me are in a good spot. The plates also have a lock switch located by the power plug for easy travel and storage. The cord length was good for me, but note it does not have a surge protector plug. I prefer this some might not. Also it feels noticeably lighter than any of my other irons. This might matter to some. This iron turns on at 380. It is adjustable in 10 degree jumps. I decided to start at 390 and sectioned, in pretty good chunks to see what it could do. First pass I could tell the plates did not feel as smooth as my GHD or Paul Mitchell plates do BUT it truly was one pass at a lower temp. This was def a good tradeoff for me. I had zero catching or yanking which was consistently happening with my GHD. The edges are slightly curved on this iron so I would easy be able to do loose waves. I can't speak for what it does for shine I'm very lucky to have shiny hair. My frizzed out lob which is just over the top of my shoulder blades was done perfectly in less than 10 minutes that's with stopping to section and single pass on even the thicker sections I passed it over. This is at least a fifth of the price I paid for the GHD and outperformed it ever way. I highly recommend for anyone with similar hair looking for a two inch plate iron. This is a great hair tool at a great price point by a trusted name.

Ela chapinha é maravilhosa. No Brasil não encontro nenhuma que seja tão boa. Tenho muito cabelo, e os fios são grossos, ela por ser mais larga, ajuda muito. Tinha uma outra que durou mais de 15 anos, não consigo gostar de outra. Vale cada centavo.

Meninas que produto indecente de bom ! Não agarra nadinha nos fios , vale cada centavo está na dúvida de comprar comprem !!!! Vale o investimento até pq comprar prancha inferior só vai destruir mais ainda seus fios e vc vai ter que gastar com tratamento , a questão é pq não comprei antes .. muitoooooooo boa !!!!! Meu cabelo está todo quebrado não posso fazer selagem no momento e ela deixou ele com um aspecto de saudável surreal isso usando na temperatura baixa , meu cabelo está quebrado pq coloquei um cabelo orgânico estava grávida e passei mal com calor do cabelo na nuca quem estava comigo teve que me acudir cortando para tirar e sim isso algumas mechas do meu cabelo foi junto

Estoy encantada con mi plancha valio la pena la espera y viene con un tranformador por si la llevo a otro país.

Hace muy buen trabajo. Es la segunda plancha que tengo de esta marca (la primera me duró entre 10 y 12 años) estoy muy sorprendida porque son muy económicas, duran mucho, su placa de cerámica es de buena calidad, calientan rapido. El cable es de buena calidad, largo y además es giratorio; me gusta mucho que cuenta con un segurito para que permanezca cerrada cuando vas a guardarla, tiene varios niveles de temperatura. He tenido 4 planchas de cabello en mi vida (contada esta) las primeras dos duraron muy poco considerando que no se les daba uso rudo y mi cabello es bastante lacio, mi primer plancha remington duro demasiado tiempo, por esto es que compre esta segunda, totalmente recomendadas.

Muy buena y excelente llego muy bien y funciona al 100% lo recomiendo
