Wow I was really impressed with this guitar when it arrived! The paint is a really deep black with a good sparkle and shimmer to it that gives it a really nice space vibe to it. The paint job was done very well with no runs or bubbles and a very solid finish that is sure to last. The fret board feels really nice under the fingers and plays very well with no issue getting notes to sound out properly. At the head of the guitar the shape is very stylish and the tuning pegs so far have held the tuning very well and adjust easy. The strings that came on the guitar are actually pretty decent for a starter set to get you playing from day one. Plugged into an amp this guitar was able to adjust the tone and volume well in addition the selector for the pick ups gives you more of a range of sound that you might be looking for. I think this is a very solid beginner guitar, it doesn't weight very much so its not cumbersome to carry around or play and its features give you a good amount to try out some different styles to play different music and really get into playing!

As a beginner who just got into guitar playing I thought I'd start out with something like a Fender Squire, since they're known to be among the best when it comes to newbie guitarists. Unfortunately it was unaffordable for me so I started checking lesser brand alternatives that carry the same design and flexibility of the Squire, and suffice to say that I was unimpressed with cheaper knockoffs. This guitar however, completely surpassed my low expectations considering the cheap price and unpopularity. Ibanez, if you haven't heard of this brand before is a known quality guitar maker whom legendary guitarists like Joe Satriani use models of. PROS: 1.Smooth carefully crafted body and impressive paint for whats intended to be a cheap practice guitar. 2.Good quality wood and the neck is reliable. 3.Strings are good enough for starting and don't peel on your fingers like some cheaper alternatives. Overall not bad quality. CONS: 1.The reason i gave this guitar a 4 instead of 5, is because i received it with a small but deep crack close to the socket where you plug the amp cable which could be either a manufacturing problem, or due to shipping. 2. Not really a con but something to kep in mind nonetheless, it doesn't come with extras like picks or straps.Just the guitar, instruction manual, and warranty. Overall for the offering 100$ price, this guitar is worth every penny and after owning it for 3 or 4 months now I'm happy to say the guitar is looking and performing the same way i received it. And the crack i mentioned thankfully is not affecting the guitar's performance.

Really nice Ibanez. I wasn’t expecting it to feel so nice. Good action, good tuning, nice fret bars. Great!
