Gold Lust Repair & Restore Conditioner - Repairs Damaged Hair

Have gone to an Oribe-affiliated salon for years and for a long time poo-pooed purchasing the products simply because of the sky-high price point. I was already using "good" shampoo-conditioner (R + Co) which, while plenty pricey itself, still seemed almost like a bargain compared to the Oribe. One Christmas, I finally cracked during a good promotion and, man, quickly admitted I was wrong—this stuff really is the best. My hair has never been softer, shinier, or easier to style. It also smells great, with a scent that never overwhelms, but does last, and I think it's kept my fine but often dry hair both a lot healthier, and feeling thicker than it ever did on any other product regime. The price still stings, but the 1 L bottles last a long, long time. Even with daily washes I probably only go through 2 to 2-1/2 bottles per year. The pump dispensers are great and easy to use and the packaging does feel/look luxe which isn't essential, but adds to the overall "treat 'yo self" feel. Have tried other high-end shampoos and conditioners and always come back to the Oribe, with the Gold Lust line being my absolute go-to. Can't say enough good things. If you're on the fence, like I was for so long, give it a try and see if you're also convinced the ridiculously high price, which still does feel silly, is, at least relatively speaking, worth it. Keep an eye out for holiday and other promotions, that make the sticker shock a tiny bit less shocking.

So, I used one of those hair bond rebuilders and I guess sometimes they don’t really agree with everyone’s hair type. My hair turned brittle and dry and I was really panicked. I purchased Oribe Gold lust conditioner to try and bring my hair back to life. My hair is lorg and color treated and I was treating it with kid gloves in the hopes it would restore my hair to its pre-bonding treatment beauty. This conditioner does not disappoint. It smells clean and fresh and I could tell improvement within a few treatments. I could comb through it easily and it was soft and shiny. It may seem expensive but ladies we all know how important hair is to our self esteem. Don’t hesitate to try it out.

Best conditioner in the world. Will literally change your hair into the most touchable beautiful hair ever! It’s pricey but worth every penny. When I used a different shampoo and conditioner at a friends it reaffirmed what I knew when my hair felt damaged again! I won’t use another product on my hair ever again! It’s that amazing! Try this product if you’re on the fence… I wish they had something this life changing for skincare. It’s amazing! And the scent is beautiful… my hair is beautiful… no frizz, extra soft and moisturizing! I have been damaging my hair using cheap products my entire life that have ingredients that are subpar and literally just all around bad for your hair until now! Take my money! lol

The best product , but very expensive !! $50-$60 each for the 6.5 + 8.5 ounce shampoo and the conditioner . If you’re going to keep using it , and you can afford it , I recommend buying the 33.5 ounce ( 1 liter ) refill containers ( $ 150-$200 ) ,,,,, if you do the math , it’s almost twice as much product for nearly half the price !!! I don’t know about you , but I look at that little bottle on the shelf in my shower and think - that cost $. 50 bucks , really ? But now I think , it’s $ 25 bucks , that’s not so bad ! I’d buy the stuff by the 55 gallon drum if I could !!! 😂

This is definitely a splurge, but it’s one of those products where you can tell the difference. My hair feels softer, looks healthier, and is much easier to manage. It provides moisture without feeling heavy and leaves my hair looking smooth and polished. A little goes a long way, which helps justify the price. Would absolutely buy it again.

Edited to add: Well, after trying numerous other high end premium conditioners since I wrote this review I've found myself coming back to Oribe time and again. I bought the Oribe perfume. I bought the Oribe hand cream and the lotion. I bought the million dollar bottles or Oribe so I don't run out. It works. It makes my hair soft. Adds zero volume though. But the softness and taming this does lasts atleast 3 days for me. The shampoo really cleanses without drying and the conditioner makes my hair feel naturally tamed and soft as whoowee! OG review: I started giving a hoot about my hair recently after going years and years not caring, not even a little. I was using shampoo and conditioner that cost 5 bucks combined. maybe not even that much. Oribe sounds like the gold standard so I chose this set. The shampoo barely has a scent. I expected something glorious after reading so many rave reviews about the fragrance but its almost undetectable. The conditioner has a great scent, its not overpowering and it doesnt linger in my hair as long as moroccanoil which is what I tried out prior to trying this one (i prefer Moroccanoil scent, its beautiful and lasts longer), but its a beautiful scent nonetheless. Its floral. So I didn't find Oribe to be life changing. But ive only used it once. Perhaps given enough time this will bring life back to my tresses. I'm kinda thinking it better, given the price and all. I'll be sure to update after a month or two. I'm going to go ahead and get the hair mask, too. I'm all in baby, fingers crossed this helps my limp noodly hair.

I wish I didn’t like this so much! It would be easier on my wallet. But I have to admit I love this! This is my second one. I absolutely Love the smell of this. The feel of your hair afterwards. It moisturizes and leaves the hair tangle free. I color and curl my hair all the time. This works. Give it a try.

Due to a negligent hair dresser, I ended up with an amazing bald spot. Another hair dresser was wonderful and recommended the Oribe Gold Lust shampoo and conditioner to help with regrowth and repair for damaged hair! I’ve only been using it for just shy of a month and the pictures posted above were taken 4 weeks apart! I cannot believe how quickly my hairs have started to grow back! The smell of this product is great, doesn’t leave a gross residue and is 100% the best shampoo and conditioner set I’ve used! My hairs so much softer, stronger and just looks great! I’d absolutely recommend this brand, especially the Gold Lust to all my family and friends!! I’m also extremely sensitive to smells, they affect my asthma and can make me very sick! I was so please that this brand didn’t bother me because their scent isn’t overpowering, but just the right blend! Which is another bonus!!
