Southworth J988C Parchment Specialty Paper, 32 lb, 8.5 x 11, Ivory, 250/Pack

This paper is quite nice. It's noticeably thicker than normal printer paper, thinner than cardstock. It has what I'd call a crisp texture. It folds well and holds the fold. There are no watermarks on the sheets I held up to the light, for those who want to know. The parchment texture is well mixed (not sure how to describe this) so the variations in tone wouldn't distract from anything printed on it. It isn't as mottled looking as in the product photo. It's also much more of a cream color than the grey/greenish looking product photo as it shows on my computer, which is what I was hoping was the case. It looks exactly like "ivory parchment paper" should. I got it primarily to use for writing on by hand, to use in a few art projects I have in mind. I wanted something that would fit in with an antique motif, the look and weight is perfect for that use. It isn't as smooth as regular printer paper, it has some tooth, but not enough to make handwriting difficult in any way. It has the added bonus that I can use it in the printer if I want. Yes, I would purchase it again.

I have to say that I not printed anything on this yet BUT the quality is amazing. It's super thick but not card stock thick where it can't be used in a printer and it's just really nice quality, you can just tell. I used to write resumes for people in another life and I would buy good quality cloth or cloth blend paper that honestly seemed like it cost an arm and a leg and this is SO much nicer. I will definitely buy again if the price stays within reason. I'm fairly sure the ream I bought won't be enough for the project I'm working on. I would have bought more but couldn't find what I wanted color/GSM for a decent price plus I was a little short on cash anyway. I will update with pics when I am done and print my stuff out :)

The parchment color and 32 lb weight adds a touch of class to the genealogical projects that I print for family. I have used this paper for years.

I bought this paper to use to print certificates of authenticity for my artworks. It's important to me that they would be acid-free and the paper would be thick enough, which it definitely is. I needed a professional look. The paper quality looks good, opaque and took ink really well from an inkjet printer (color as well as black). My printer is a Canon Pixma Pro and it went through smoothly with no clogging. It's not too rough, I feel like it would be versatile for other applications and I think it would perform well regardless of usage.

Love the color of this paper; it has a very subtle pattern. Additionally, it feels very nice to hold! I put it through my inket printer to make double sided art prints and it holds up surprisingly well even though it's probably not supposed to do full prints at this weight. Hoping I have some left over just to write on because it feels very nice. Fountain pen ink does feather so keep that in mind if you're purchasing it for handwriting.

This is a very nice quality paper that can be used for presentation purposes. It prints well and I have used it for photos as well as regular printing. It is sturdy enough to be used for cover stock. I am pleased with the product.
