Great birdbath, love the fiberclay
I was looking for a birdbath that would not crack as easily as the ceramic ones, and would be more durable. My old ceramic one had been knocked over by cats and finally it slipped out of my hands while I was emptying it and broke. This birdbath has held up in freezing temps without cracking so far, and looks great. It is heavy enough that I did not add sand to the base, and don't feel the need to. We do have high winds. The bowl unscrews from the base for easier emptying, which is a plus. My old ceramic one just sat on top of the ceramic pedestal. I think it's beautiful, the price was right, and the birds are using it. The bowl is big, and seems deep, but I measured and it's 2 inches or so deep, which is what is recommended. I did put a big river rock in the middle and the birds like landing on it and drinking. It looks like a ceramic birdbath, and should it eventually crack, I will just go out and buy another one, since it's so affordable. Great product.

What’s Not To Like??
Just the right height, looks very nice, not too heavy but very stable with just one rock placed inside. Good color. Good price.

Pretty good!
It looks nice in the yard. It was a bit lighter and smaller than I thought it would be, compared to the previous concrete birdbath that I had. It has a nice lip on the edge where the bees and birds and can alight while they drink water.

Don’t leave it out i the winter.
Really pretty and the birds loved it. I] left it out in ]the winter with a heater to keep it ice free. The bottom of the bowl cracked. I wish I knew to take it in. It is light weight good size , easy to set up and level in the garden. I put rocks ]in it to give it some weight..

Quality attractive birdbath
This is a great birdbath. It is lighter weight and easy to assemble. I added stones inside to make it very stable. It has remained relatively clean when using a birdbath cleaner. The color and size are perfect, I added a solar fountain for added perfection. I’m considering buying another one to replace my metal birdbath that needs constant refilling and cleaning. This was a great value for the money!

Don't waste your money
I'd give it a 0 if I could. First one I ordered had all these weird brown 'stains' in the basin that appear to be under the coating so you can't get rid of them. Ordered a replacement that had the same issue, but less obvious so I decided to keep it rather than keep ordering and replacing. I assembled it and discovered a host of other design flaws. Basin is bright blue, totally different color than the base which is a dark weathered looking navy blue. I thought it was just a light/shadow issue in the photos but it looks bizarre. Assembly was a nightmare. Not enough threads to keep the basin attached, as soon as a squirrel hops up, it's going to fall off. The screws in the neck are screwing into plastic so you have a split second between tightened and stripped. Once you strip it, there's no way to securely attach the base to the basin. I had to use Gorilla Glue. The bottom base had to be pounded into place, and there's no taking it apart once you figure out the rest of the assembly issues. So no way to return this piece of garbage. Save your money and buy a different birdbath.

Looks pretty
Base arrived cracked vertically, but usable, so I’m keeping it. Too much hassle to send it back. It looks pretty in the garden; no birds yet…but I’m waiting for the solar fountain to arrive tomorrow. Base has been filled with crushed rock for stability. Top I would not fit securely, so I hope a large bird won’t dislodge the basin. product again.

GREAT
Well made and all 3 parts went together perfectly. Just remember that the top goes together by screwing together and bottom sort of snap on. I filled center part with play sand and it is very sturdy. The green color is very pretty. It took a while for the birds to get used to it but starting to use it now after a week or so.
