An excellent set with a a little room for improvement
This set comes with three scissors with neutral lavender handles that stand out just enough to be easily found. The blades on all 3 pairs are excellent: the micro serration makes them super sharp affording precision cuts, the balance makes them a pleasure to use. There is however, room for improvement in the 8-inch pair because the thumb whole can cause discomfort. The design of the thumb whole is smaller than other 8-inch scissors (such as Fiskars, Scotch's for example) and cause fatigue on the thumb rather quickly. But because each pair in the set can compensate for the other, the smaller thumb-whole on the 8-inch pair is not too problematic. Since the blades are so sharp, it is easy to use the 8-inch par for slide cutting so that no pressure is put on the thumb. Other cuts can easily be achieved with he 6-inch pair which has a larger thumb whole approximating a large handle design. The smallest of the set is perfect for detail work as it cuts through all the way to the tip, like the other pairs do. I use these scissors to cut very thick paper and crepe paper for sculpturing and flower making and I love to work with them.

Smart, sharp, excellent for seamstress'
I found these scissors to be very sharp, right to the very tips. The three sizes are excellent for all of your needs in the sewing room. The day after I got them, I took them with me to class and let all of the ladies use them. They were loved by all. I highly recommend them.

Kai quality but not the most comfortable
Great Kai quality but surprisingly uncomfortable to use in the thumb hole. I have other Kai scissors and find these unusual in their discomfort for longer use sessions. I wear womens gloves size 7 so maybe it’s a size issue. However they are fantastic at cutting; the micro serrated edges grip fabric and allow for precise cuts.

LOVE KAI SCISSORS!
I had only one of this set from a previous purchase, but a promotion in one of my sewing groups (So Sew English) led me to find the rest of this set! I absolutely love the serrated edge, as it's perfect for slippery fabrics. They are sharp and stay that way! Now I have all the sizes necessary to precisely cut out my patterns! THANKS!

Love these scissors!
I LOVE these scissors! They are definitely sharp and staying that way. I use them only on fabric & thread though...which is what you should do when you want to keep sewing scissors as such. The first thing I did was show them to my husband & told him they were NOT for his use. LOL The protective covers are very nice & appreciated as well.

Love these scissors; they cut so cleanly and sharp. Using them for sewing. I want to order again, as I am pleased with my set and think they will be a great gift

I am a quilter, these are quality scissors but are very poorly designed for adult hands. They are more suited for a child as the thumb and finger openings are extremely small. I have smaller hands myself but find them very uncomfortable to use.
