Do the cards and pegs fit inside when it is folded?

Sure do! It all fits neatly together in that pouch. But only the cards that come with it fit inside the board. However, if you wanted to have another deck of cards stored with it, you can slide one into the orange pouch beside the board for storage/travel.

Does this board fold perfectly flat to play? We had a folding plastic board and it wouldn't lie flat. It buckled in the middle. Help?

We love ours, and it does fold out flat without buckling but wish it had a compartment to hold the pegs but otherwise very happy with the travel board.

Has anyone bought better quality pegs that fit this set?

A friend had some given to him that fit better. So they are out there.
