Sharp
This knife was really different from what I now use. The blade is very sharp and usable in many applications. The shape and size will bother some people but the blade has held up under daily use for about a month. The only complaint it the clip.

came with a burr
4.5/5 serrated version came with a burr. BIG straight karambit. Mine came with a pocket clip oriented for a left pocket set up if you pull from the ring and a right pocket set up if you pull from the handle.

Worth the money.
My son loves it. Says it makes his job easier. He works with fiberglass. Not sure what he has to cut, but he says it โsaves his hands.โ He can put it on a retractable key chain because of the loophole at the bottom of the handle. He says it makes his job easier.

Fantastic Knife with Caveats
I like a good karambit, and the Tiger Claw is maybe a 7.5 out of 10 in that regard. I think it's important to remember that this is probably a utility knife that can pull self defense or maybe a self defense knife that can pull utility work? It's sort of a knife that doesn't really know what it wants to be. Due to the rather straight handle, a reverse grip does not drive the point and edge deeply at an aggressive angle. In short, reverse grip slashes are going to be shallower. Held in a forward grip, you do have a nasty slasher that can do a lot of damage...but they you have a largely useless ring in the way. My biggest gripe is that Demko should have designed the thumb stud to grab more of your pocket or Cold Steel should have just licensed the Emerson Wave feature as due to the blade shape, it's rather awkward to wave open with either a forward or reverse grip. In a forward grip, the tip takes forever to snap the whole way open. I caught my shirt a couple times slowing the lock up. In a reverse grip, you REALLY need to be careful as the blade needs a full sweep lest it snap back down on your fingers. The thumb plate works fine for wheeling the knife open with a slow roll. The plate doesn't grab enough engage the knife fully without a bit of a practiced flourish when fished from a pocket. The blade is not long or heavy enough to wrist flick open reliably. So far, every time I have practied deploying the blade in various ways, it have gotten enough misfires to give myself the heebie-jeebies. In short, the ergonomics of this knife are a bit all over the place. It certainly cuts as aggressively as it looks. I purposely selected this knife for the aggressive serrated edge and how formidable it looks and performs. That said, I'm not really sure I feel I can trust this knife not to injure me when I deploy it in an emergency. Once it's locked up, the triad lock is bank-vault. No issues there. It's just deploying the knife and not cutting myself in the process. I think this one way be regulated to boot carry as a back up. It's light and flat, but I'm not sure it's what I want to grab first.

Not CTS XHP
I ordered thinking it was in CTS XHP but it wasnโt. Itโs SV35N. As for design, this is my favorite self-defense blade. 3 stars because I made a purchase based on un-updated listing information.

Great value
Excellent high quality knife for the money, with CTS steel blade and G-10 handles. This knife should last a lifetime with a minimal amount of care; just cleaning, oiling and sharpening. (I have a similar CS knife with same steel and handles and have dropped it several times and also accidentally ran over it with my car and have had absolutely no issues with it). When used in an overhand grip with small finger on ring, it gives you the extension of a 5โ blade, which is brilliant. The blade steel is much stronger than typical S690 or VG-10 found in other popular Karambits. Although this is not a true Karambit, I do like the design and it can be adapted to easily if you are familiar with Karambits.
