This is a very good quality product for the price . It is easy to install. Others have already opined on the technical detail. I have bought 2 and used std cigarette lighter and also OBD attachment . I was able to source that from their excellent customer service. They always respond immediately and very helpful

Great camera. Very good quality and easy to use. Surprised at how easy it was to install and the included tool makes it even easier. I dropped the anti static plastic so I emailed support and asked for another. This was done very quickly for free. Great customer service.

Was a good Dashcam with very clear recording and fairly sharp at night, however the app was clunky and watching videos directly off the memory card was jerky (smooth when viewed over the app) - this appear to be an issue with the compression codec as I tried many types and class of cards and different applications (including VLC which will generally play anything smoothly). However after 2 years of reasonable use (~2 hours a day) it started randomly rebooting, or scrambling the image on the screen. I tried the various fixes posted (master reset, reformat cards, new cards etc) but it got worse and now will not stay on for more the 10 seconds before going into a reboot loop with a loud pop. I suspect the large capacitor it uses has failed (and the capacitor was supposed to give it a longer life than a battery-backed dashcam). Disappointed as it wasn't cheap at the time.

For anyone out there thinking of buying this or any of their products ! May I just say Retiger is the best company I have ever dealt with and I am 76 years old !!! there products are nothing short of Brilliant and their customer support is the best out there!! I will now be buying another front and rear camera for my second vehicle!

Positives - Reasonably priced compared to Nextbase equivalent, compact design, cables supplied long and easily connected, optional hard wire kit comprehensive (but over-priced), 32GB memory card included, daytime images are good front and rear, night image is just okay but Nextbase 522 is much better (higher quality lens and image sensor), display on camera good, menu fast and responsiveNegatives - Contacted support through app three times no response, fundamental fail on connectivity design - Nextbase use Bluetooth to connect, once paired camera always connects to app, RedTiger uses Wi-Fi, which requires manual connection every time on camera and app and phone Wi-Fi, eveytime you get in the vehicle you have to fiddle with the camera menus to switch it on and fiddle with the phone Wi-Fi through the app which often forgets the password.This is a bad design flaw for users who need to connect every time, for example taxi drivers, delivery drivers and driving instructors, you need to connection for rear camera when reversing.Ten years ago, even five years ago we accepted fiddly connections, now things should just work after initial setupI bought two of these sets to arrange the four camera around the car, hard wired creating a Tesla Sentry type setup. I park the car in city carparks often. I fixed the two main cameras to the front and rear screens, the small cameras are attached to the rear door windows behind privacy glass, pretty much 360 protectionI have to get in the back seat everytime want to connect that camera to the app. My Nextbase 522 camera was tuck behind the rear view mirror not obstructing the road view, the RedTiger has to be positioned in an accessible place to get at the buttons and see the screen, flicking buttons and going through menus to switch on connection, we're into driving legality grey area, by law dash cams should not obstruct view on the windscreenWill update if they can fixed the firmware so it just connects when their app opens

Delivery was seamless. Camera quality is quite decent and build quality very good. Oh and also comes with a 32GB SD card included. Was worried about the installation but it was surprisingly easy and got it installed myself in under an hour.Customer service is also excellent, was sent a free hardwire kit as well. Overall, really impressive purchase experience.
