Great Support
I have them mounted to my tripod and it works well not allowing the slider to dip when the weight of the camera is on one side. However, you still need sand bags on the bottom of the tripod so that it doesn't topple over.

With mixed feelings
This support set for sliders felt somewhat clumsy and delicate because of all the separate parts that where combined together. It can do the job if you have piece of mind and don’t do a lot of location work. I think it would do a better job with one-click fast connectors at the slider side (instead of turning screws around). It wasn’t worth the relative high price to me.
