This ice cream maker is great. It is easy to use, works exactly as Cuisanart says is their description and advertising. I had an old one but this is 100’% better. Best of all the ice cream is delicious. I used the recipe book that Amazon showed with it. We started with vanilla and the tried peach cobbler. It was wonderful. I am glad I bought a second freezing/storage bowl. With the extra freezing bowl we can make ice cream any time we want!

We bought this book along with a Cuisinart ICE-70 series maker. The book has tons of great recipes for ice cream, frozen yogurt, sorbet, gelato, and even some specialty drinks. We’ve made 5 kinds of ice cream thus far and have liked them all.

This book complements the maker perfectly. The recipes combine the perfect amount of ingredients which results in the perfect amount of product for the maker. Have made 6 different flavors and all have been delicious, in fact they’ve been better than store bought ice cream.

Love it and plan on using the easy to understand recipes. However, do Not buy the Kitchenaid ice cream book as the recipes are identical and wording mostly the same. I made the mistake of buying both, thinking they were different recipes/viewpoints! The authors of both books are different, which led me to believe a difference. They obviously are written by the same person. A good book but don't need 2 identical recipe books for ice cream.

I purchased this book along with a Cuisinart ice cream maker for my son as a Christmas gift. The whole family was impressed by the variety of interesting recipes. Excited to start using it.

We have made several different ice creams based on this book, including vanilla, strawberry, blueberry, and blackberry. All turned out very good. The book contains several errors, however, such as listing heavy cream in the ingredients and referring to half and half in the instructions. These errors have been easy to figure out, but they are confusing and irritating. A bigger complaint is that about a third of the instructions are not needed. For example three separate instructions in EVERY recipe tell me to chill the Cuisinart container for at least 12 hours in a cold freezer, and then how to put it in the machine, then how to insert the stirring device and the lid. This is entirely unnecessary. How about including an asterisk telling me to refer to common instructions. The same kind of thing happens later in every recipe. Some recipes contain enough ingredients to fill the Cuisinart container, but others only fill it 2/3 full. Why is this? Finally, every recipe starts with some homely description of why she likes the recipe rather than telling what is unique about it. The length of the book could be reduced by nearly 1/3. In fact, several of the recipes in this book are identical to the ones that are on the Cuisinart book. And that book fits 3 recipes on one page by eliminated fluff. The reviewed book takes two or three pages for one recipe.

I love that gives us so many choices of different flavors of ice cream to make. Really opened up our repertoire -easy to follow and they've turned out well

This book has recipes to suit absolutely every taste. My favourite is the vanilla ice cream recipe. It’s important to note that the quality of the cream makes a big difference—good ice cream didn’t always turn out with every brand I tried. Now, I only use high-quality, natural, and organic cream.

A very poor photocopy at an extremely exorbitant price. Does not deserve a place on the book shelf.
